I'm sorry for your losses and hope your mom recovers quickly. :flowerforyou: Awesome job for taking those experiences and turning them into positives for you to push yourself to be healthy and be a great role model for your kids and others! You're doing an amazing job - keep it up!!

Wow.. this thread has really died out (with the exception of Porterbaby). It would be nice to get this thing going again! But where did everyone go? I don't even think half the people who used to be in this group even get on MFP anymore. Maybe we need a fresh start.. re-evaluate our goals and repost everything.. on a…

I weighed in at 197.2.... but I since I was gone for the weekend and didn't work out (other than walking around seeing things) AND the buffets - I think I did pretty good. It was nice to get out of town for a while, but I'm glad to get back and jump right back in the swing of things. Losing weight is on the top of my…

You could still do these exercises with dumbbells or bands. (You can attach the band to a door or something to do the seated rowing exercises). While these will help, the best thing you can do is a combination of strength and cardio. Cardio will help burn the fat off so you can see muscles and tighten up, while strength…

Yay! I'm happy to report that I have over 700 calories left today! (I burned 865 with my workout though). I'm not hungry, I don't plan on eating anything else. So I feel like today was a success! I didn't get all my water in though.. But I'm usually good with water, so one day should still be okay. Hope everyone had a…

I've done Insanity before so I know first hand it is a very intense workout! I would say you just need to eat more. When you're using that much energy, you have to properly fuel your body to see results.

I don't feel like working out sometimes either. But I always tell myself to do at least a few minutes and then I usually finish the workout. The first 15 minutes are always the hardest - it's just a mental hurdle you have to get over. Don't get down because your fiance is ahead of you.. that doesn't matter because putting…

I got a 90 minute workout in and burned 865 calories! I'm pleased with my workout today. I'm also planning on doing some cleaning to burn a few more. Starting on my second bottle of water..

I know what you mean. I have to go back to college Aug. 17, and I'm not at the goal I wanted to be at (185 or lower). But I'm not gonna sweat it. I am going to do the best I can from here out so that I can go back to school and at least know I gave it my all the month before I had to go back. Don't be frusterated! It will…

Sounds great to me! I'm already in another group, but the more support and motivation, the better! I'm not going to put a specific goal weight for the new year down, because for some reason I get intimidated by having a number set in stone to reach by a certain time. I do so much better just going at my own pace without…

I don't think you screwed up at all. At least you got a great workout in! Plus, one day under OR overeating won't hurt a thing! If you under ate every day, you might have an issue to deal with in the future. But the body is pretty smart and usually isn't greatly affected by one day's events.

AMAZING job! Congrats on what you've done so far! You have a great attitude about this, so I'm sure you'll reach your goals! Keep us updated!

Why don't you try exercising first thing in the morning? That way it will get done and you can focus on all the other important things you have to do the rest of the day. Exercise helps you clear your mind, release stress and be able to think better, so I wouldn't give it up! You can do it! If you're like me, it will ADD…

I would eat at LEAST the 2030 calories a day that MFP gives you. I know it's counterintuitive to eat more when trying to lose weight but that fuel is very important for your body. Don't give up working out, just make sure to eat at least your 2030 calories and you should see the scale budge again. Good luck!
