First I was wondering if you got your BS straightened out with working out now. In case you didn't know if your low say 5pm then you work backwards 4-6 hours to your lunch and bolus less. Also if your I suggest doing strength than cardio. The weights raise your BS and then the cardio drops it back down. Today I was 92 at…

I was just in the shower thinking of this topic so I did my squats in there. Now I'm do the rest.

The 1st week in Oct. I'm thinking possibly to do couch to 5K. The heat index makes it 110 here in VA. I did a 60 minute UFC Personal Trainer workout and burned about 307 calories. :-)

I'm April and 28. I was hardcore doing this from Oct 2010 to May 2011. I took 2 months off with vacation and not eating 100% "healthy" and in that time I gained about 3lbs. Right now I have a goal to lose as much as possible before my moms wedding in November in Hawaii. I had lost 14 but taking those 3 in factors I'm at…

This makes me feel a little better. I was on here hardcore from Oct-May and have only lost 15lbs. It is hard to see my MFP friends lose what I need to overall in a 3-4 month period. The most I lost in 1 month was 6lbs b/c I changed gyms. Other than that its like 1/2 - 1lb a month.

I had the same "problem" when I first started my new gym. I could eat my breakfast not bolus and go workout and still be in range or slightly low afterwards. Congrats on the new insulin sensitivity. My endo had me lower my pump for the whole day. I went from 1.10 down to .950 for my day time pattern. I had my nighttime one…

Type 1 for the last 15 years. I'm using Animas Ping. For low blood sugars I suggest getting little juice boxes (~34 carbs). If I'm 60-80 and have any insulin still running through my system I chug one and lower my basal for a couple of hours.

You got to really work that fun under the sheets. I bet whoever is on top burns the most.

I have bought 2 Polar FT 40's. I got a 2nd one for my gf bc it was well worth the price. Go to Polar online and figure out which suits your needs. I bought both on EBay for cheaper price then any store. At least make sure you get one with a chest strap for the most accurate.

You meals look way healthier than mine. Congrats on your 3lbs. Make sure since your exercising to eat more like 1400-1600 calories so you don't have a negative deficit. No offense to your A1C of 9.0....but I don't understand how a lot of people have issues with it. Even before my pump my highest I remember was 7.2 or 7.4.…

I love the fact that your workout partner is type 1. My gf aka workout partner workouts out with me and it makes me feel a little more comfortable in case I would have a low she's there to help. My gf knows when I'm high or low. Everyone is different but when I'm low I get *****y and just feel blah.

When are you working out?? Are you on shots or pump? If its the pump I can help you out. Here is my personal example of how my body works. Today for instances I woke up at 10:30 and was 80 and had egg beaters, turkey bacon and cheese. So I had no carbs to bolus for. Then I went to the gym at 1:00pm and when I came back I…

Type 1 for the last 15 years and been using the pump for the last 6 years. My current A1C at the end of April was 5.7. My diabetic dr always tells me I'm her favortie b/c I do what I'm supposed to and plan on having a long healthy life while waiting for that cure that is "10" years away. As fenestraria says my weight loss…

Congrats. We started the same time and I should be down to your weight too, but my body is being weird and I'm only down 14.4lbs.

Don't worry slow and steady is the way to go. No loose skin that way. I have been doing this since the last week in October and only down 14.4 lbs from 169-154. The most I lost in one month was 6lbs and that was when I changed gyms. I have had my goal calories at 1200,1250,1275,1300,1320 and zig-zaged calories. As of…

What routines are you ladies doing??? (I'm going to need a new routine come June.) My gf and I are doing 4 circuits instead of 3 now. We are also trying to add more weight or reps. Here are all the exersices we have used. My favorites are *'ed. Routine 1: Dumbbell Chest Press *Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press Bench Dips…

Doing a great job. Glad to have you as my MFP buddy.

Which HRM do you have? chest strap? I would spend a $100 and get a Polar b/c the are one of the best out there and lots on MFP have them. I have a Polar FT40 w/ chest strap and its very accurate.

I say go for it. Some days I eat just a few over 1200 and someday I eat under 1200 (not more than 50). I have zig-zagged, changed workouts(more/less) everything possible. My weight loss has been incrediable slow compared to others. Only 14lbs in 6 months. I just have to keep saying slow and steady if i get to my total of…

EFFING AWESOME!!! (My 1st thoughts) Way to Go also.

I'm thinking to up my daily calories to that 1400 BMR range. My thinking is if I need at least 1400 to lay around and do nothing then maybe I haven't been eating enough. I do make sure to at least get my NET of 1200 or some days I'm a few under or over depending on the previous day. Since I haven't really lost much I'm…

I'm 5'3 and currently 155. I'm looking to get somewhere in the 130's. I have my ticker at 129 to make it an even 40lbs total I could lose. My body is medium built and I tend to have broader shoulders than other females. With all the online calculators I think my lean muscle mass is between 115-125lbs so I definitely can't…

I'm 5'3 and 157lbs and were a size 12 at Old Navy. The low rise pants.

Fat burn zone is training in a lower intensity and the main source of energy is fat. Fitness is training in a higher intensity and improving your cardio fitness. (Strenghtening your heart and increasing blood to muscles and lungs. My gf and I both have Polar HRM's. I have noticed b/c I'm more in shape than she that I stay…
