Facebook has a wonderfully active 17 day diet group where everyone is very devoted to the diet. I would recommend going there too to get your questions answered. You pretty much need the book. It's a plan where you eat low carb, healthy protein foods in cycles of 17 days x 4. But there is no way to summarize it easily in a post. I am on C2D8 and loving it!
