keeping it simple: turkey burger and some baked sweet potato

ill take an extra dose of motivation!

Your diary made me feel hungry. I'm pretty sure Anthony Hopkins ate this way and lost a bunch of weight. For the sole purpose of winning a weight loss competition this will probably work. good luck

It does feel awesome thanks for the reply, it keeps me motivated, I want more now, I already scheduled another one so it will help me stay motivated and keep training. I was pretty nervous going into it because all I ever really do is run on the treadmill ( I live in the desert its terrible for running outside sometimes)…

Thank-you all I'm just starting to get into running, so I will heed your warnings. I will definently be dropping my pace for the long beach half. For the longer races its more about finishing to me than anything else my goal is to do a marathon next year, after I do one marathon i may never do anything over a 10k again lol.

Well, I guess technically my first race was a mud run as well, but there was a whole lot of standing around and waiting for obstacles, I didnt think to count it. It was just a fun time.

haha watch "Fat Head" the documentry it explores this concept only for a month though, it's no long term study on it. oops just realized this had been mentioned, my bad.

I've had the same issue with keeping the food logs i joined about 6 months ago but only kept track for about 3 weeks, I restarted last week, I grabbed 3 co-workers/friends and had them sign up and made it to where my diary was publicly viewable in hopes it makes me more accountable and I challenged them to a 1 month weight…
