I will agree--I hate the videos. But... the principals do work well for me, so I got through them.

I started doing Naturally Slim because it helps me get points for my insurance. The program was free to me. The basic principals are to eat slowly, only eat when you're hungry, eat what you're hungry for, and stop when you're satisfied. I have continued to have small desserts, some fries, burgers, etc. and have lost about…

I've been dong stronglifts for a couple of weeks now and I definitely noticed this my first week. My neck was so sore/tight and my head was killing me. I alternated heat/ice on my neck and shoulders for several hours and tried to stretch it out. Every workout after that day I focus on relaxing my shoulders as I lift. I…

On the fitbit website (which is what you're talking about, i'm guessing) The "under" is saying that you're under your calorie goal and you need to eat more. When you say that the number keeps changing, you can change your setting to "Sedentary". If you go to the "food log" and scroll down to the thing that says "today I…

I'm closer to 5'7" and currently weigh 250. I think I could be very healthy and thin at around 190. I'm currently between a size 16 and 18. I'm losing slowly to keep my sanity, as well as my muscle mass. I'm pretty muscular and I'd like to keep that around.

I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic at the beginning of 2012. I think I was barely there anyway--she only put me on the lowest dose of Metformin once a day. I had been tired all the time and not feeling that great and the Metformin really helped me be awake and feel like myself again. It was nice. This year, my family and I…

I have the fitbit flex and have found it very helpful in losing weight. It doesn't let me overestimate how many calories I'm burning in a day, which is good for me. If I eat what it tells me I'm allowed to eat, I lose weight. I have it set for 1.5lbs/week and have lost 6 lbs in the last month. It won't tell you if your…

I have had the flex for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. It's such a great tool to keep track of how much you're actually moving and how much you should actually eat to lose weight. I have been guilty of overestimating how many calories I burn throughout the day. With the flex, I just follow what it says I can eat and…

Both my husband and I felt that it was important (abstinence), so we both waited. I've never been with anyone else, and neither has he. It was really, really hard to hold to that, especially once we got engaged, but I'm glad we did. And I'm really glad that we don't have any baggage from anyone else. Sex is a big deal. We…

I've had my Fitbit Flex for two weeks now and I think it's great. It does a great job of helping me keep my calories where they should be to lose weight. Honestly, I've mostly just been using their website, but, I'm sure that it would work well here if you set your activity level to sedentary. I really enjoy food... a lot.…

My husband and I have been married for a little over two years. He could stand to lose about 200-250 lbs and I could lose about 50-100 lbs. We both eat fairly healthy (although he does love his Chinese buffets...) with lots of veggies and lean meats. His job is incredibly stressful and he's working on his masters in Math…

Just about the same, but with the addition of nearly a pint of ice cream every night, usually with chocolate shell or syrup or peanut butter cups/oreos mixed in. My husband jokingly measures ice cream not in scoops but "Hannahs". "How much ice cream do you want? 1 Hannah, 2 Hannahs?" Now, when we do have ice cream, I…

I work for several health science departments at a community college. One of my bosses is a Physical Therapist. I asked her about my the tightness/pain I was feeling in my lower legs after running and doing 30DS. She said they were shin splints and told me to do some stretches. Basically, get in a high lunge position,…

You're in basically the same boat as I'm in, as far as weight goes. What I've found has worked for me is spacing my meals out throughout the day. I eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner every day. It keeps my metabolism up and running and actually helps a lot. I eat about 1600 calories a day, plus more if I exercise.…
