I'd test it by not having any for a week and seeing if it made a difference.

5' 7", currently around 178. Hourglass is re-emerging. I'm aiming for 10 stone (140lbs) as that was where I was when I was younger. See how it goes. Frame varied - by wrist it is small, my elbow it is medium/large - got down to UK size 12 in the past but never for very long, settled at 14 normally, so I don't think it is…

Been here - I wash it out when I shower (use hand held shower head to clear the soap etc), then lay back and drop a few drops of tea tree oil in and squooch it about a bit. Repeat daily and it clears up.

2/3 of the way there now - and so proud of myself! Halfway point was around xmas time - with a start in July. This last 1/3 will take a while though... Proudest moments - every time someone said they didn't recognise me.. :)

Nay for me - my weight in day is Saturday am! I don't binge - I'm not sure that is healthy way to relate to food. If you don't disallow anything, then nothing becomes forbidden and more tempting. Eat within your allowance, some days you may go under or over - it's no biggy as long as the weekly totals add up.

I read somewhere that people with more body fat tend to have a lower water % than those with less body fat. OK, see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_water "the total amount of water in a man of average weight (70 kilograms) is approximately 40 litres, averaging 57 percent of his total body weight. In a newborn…

Get rid of them - if they are gone there is no going back so it is an incentive. I've been buying cheaper new ones & when I find something I like, I get it in my current size and one size down. Going through sizes too fast...

Mid July last year when I came back from a Paris trip. No idea why but something snapped, I went looking for a phone app and here I am.

I started at almost the same weight as you and a similar size. I keep accidentally seeing myself in the mirror and getting a shock at how slim I look - once I realise it is me. I bought some of those bum lift & tummy tuck jeans a month or so ago and they are not doing the job they were bought for as they keep slipping…

Feeling the cold. I can live with that though. Cost of buying new clothes - got to the point where when I find something I like, I get it in current and next size down. Getting hit on by married work mates... :(

^ yes, this. I've feel the balls under the skin he talks about and woosh every month just around the time my period starts. I don't eat a lot of sodium normally, it seems related to hormones more than anything.

Open tin, get fork, try to eat, fend off kitties, end up sharing (skin, bones & all). :)

xBox Zumba - tells me I burned 8 calories in 40 mins or so, but my heart rate monitor gives me 300+. Do not trust it!
-
Because I was sick of being obese.

As soon as you stop restricting calories your glycogen reserves start building up again and you gain a little. I was always told to lose a couple more pounds than your goal to eventually 'stabilise' (although you will go up and down a bit over time) at the weight you want.

If you take iron/multivit on an empty stomach it can make you hurl. *speaks from experience*

For the longest time I felt that way - I just didn't even try because I knew I would fail. Looking back I was depressed - depressed at my weight, failed IVFs and miscarriages. Then my husband dumped me for a someone I thought was a friend. My nephew got leukaemia and my dad cancer, Then my dad died just over a year ago. I…

My husband (ex now) decided to basically replace me with the female who had been our chief bridesmaid, then tell me it wasn't working...

If someone asks ME out, I assume they will pay. If I ask THEM out, I would pay. Simples.

It is typical to lose a lot in the first week or two - I lost 9.5lb in my first 2 weeks for example. It is the body clearing out stored energy reserves of glycogen/water as it adjusts to working with lower calorie intake. There will be some fat loss, but typically water weight accounts for 60%+ of the total loss.
-
I weigh everyday and record that, along with net calorie intake each day. I also have a second table of my weekly weights and I average the calorie intake for each week to try and correlate.

First thing, after peeing etc. and before adding anything else to my body - like food, drink or clothes.
-
When I get home I change into thick fleecy PJs and fluffy slippers - normal clothes are too thin in my home (which I keep quite cool). No solution really - but hot food warms me up - stoking the boiler, as it were.

Not sure what you mean - the ticker is automatically updated as you update your stats.

I've had stretch marks since I went through puberty at a healthy weight - boobs, hips, belly, back of upper arms etc). Can't remember what it was like not to have them. They fade from the purple but will never go away.

Camping stew in a pot with a lid - boil some potatoes (chop into chunks) and carrots (chunk to same size as potatoes) then empty the water, add contents of tin of meat chunks in gravy. Stir and heat until hot through. If you weigh out the potatoes before you go, you'll have the values for that and the tin of meat will have…

With only 20 lbs to lose, around 1/2 lb a week is about right.

Yes - and so far it's not causing problems. Oh, and see this: http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/tooth.asp

Boil some eggs in the evening, put in fridge. Grab 2 for breakfast. Lots of protein and enough fat to keep you felling full for longer. Fat is not the enemy.

Extremely low fat and very low net calories. I'm not surprised you're always hungry.
