Thank you for all of the wonderful comments! The support I have received on MFP is one of the major reasons I have found success on this journey. In my loss of weight and stress, I have found increased confidence, true happiness, and have even found a wonderful man who makes me feel like a princess! So, this lifestyle…

I hit my 100 pounds lost goal in May of this past year. It's such a feeling of accomplishment! My dad is helping me to celebrate by taking me on a father/daughter long weekend to NYC! We leave on Friday!!!! Woohoo! Treat yourself to something big, because it is an amazing accomplishment and you are worth it!!!

One of my friends gets horrible leg and groin cramps and swears by the mustard packets!

Thank you! And my dad is just amazing. He has surprised me with little prizes along the way through this journey...money for a new pair of walking shoes, a dress that I was drooling over (which is 4 sizes too big now), and he told me that he would take me on a trip when I lost 100 pounds, so we are heading to NYC next…

I tried that dress on, loved it, and then convinced myself that I didn't need it. Then I drove back home (45 minutes away) and couldn't stop thinking about it for the next three days! I got back in the car and drove back to get it...Thank goodness it was still there! I LOVE that dress!!! We're going to New York in August…

Thank you so much! And that is why I push so hard...I want to have a very long and healthy life ahead of me!

Cute dress and great job!

Just stick with the water. It will all balance out and your body will get used to it.

I just want to thank all of you for your kind comments! They are pushing me to work as hard as this body will let me push. Any journey worth traveling is worth all of the bumps along the way. We all just need to keep pushing on together to get to our ultimate goals, whether they be weight loss or just better health. We can…

I started out just over a year ago and I was so horribly overweight that I was afraid to admit my issues to anyone but myself, so I just started out on my own! I worked on it for over a month before I told ANYONE that I was trying to lose weight, After I shared that I was on a journey to lose weight and get healthy, I got…

I live alone so I just keep things out of the house that I know I can't resist. Maybe you could put a sticky note on the snacks that you run to, and put a motivational saying on it. Maybe that would help you to stop and think about if you really want that snack. I have a friend who put a picture on her fridge and she said…

Wow!!! 100 days and such great results!!! You look amazing!

Hi Stacey. 15 pounds is awesome! This is such a hard journey, but I am so glad you came to MFP because it has been my saving grace in my weightloss journey. If it wasn't for my MFP friends, I would have given up a long time ago. Feel free to add me if you need a friend. I still have about 35 pounds left to lose and I hit a…

That is a huge success! Congrats on your first 7 days, and take it one week at a time. You are going to do amazing!

I battle sodium all the time, too. I am trying to up my calories to break through a plateau, but I'm having some trouble upping the calories without going over with sodium. I can tell I am retaining a lot of water because of the overage in sodium, so I am interested in other comments that you get. I did fine managing my…

So proud of your mom!!! And way to go on giving her a huge shout out!

I'm so happy for you!!!! I hit there last month and I had those same happy tears! I just started upping my calories two days ago because I had a bit of an unhealthy episode that made me realize I wasn't giving my body what it needed. I'm hoping to have the same results as you and break through another plateau. Congrats to…

I got a bit teary eyed when I read your story and saw your pictures. I don't know you, but I am so incredibly proud of you!!! You are such an inspirational lady and you have done so much in those 2 short weeks! You deserve some high 5's and applause for determination and bravery! I always used to go to the pool, but I…

Once I stopped drinking sugary drinks and switched over to just drinking water, all of my skin issues went away! My skin has been the best since I was a child since I have been drinking water and working out. Try to up your water intake. I am currently trying to drink at least 12-15 glasses a day (96-120 ounces).

I haven't had fast food in over a year! June 12th was my anniversary...how strange it is to celebrate little things like this now that I have changed my way of life. I know it would be ok to have it once in a while, but with me, one meal is ok, then two is fine, and before you know it, I'm back at the beginning, so I have…

You look incredible! Great job on achieving a new healthy life!

I really want to know that answer too! Anytime I hit a point where I seem to stall, everyone tells me that I am gaining muscle. I don't understand it. So glad you asked!
-
Morgan, Don't give up! You are doing great with getting yourself moving and working out. When I started, I just barely changed my eating habits, but I worked out as much as my body would let me. I also had over a hunderd pounds to lose. Sodium is my biggest enemy! I try very hard to keep my sodium under 2500 or I feel it…

I had a great conversation with my pastor one day (he's also my boss). He was commenting on my weight loss and looked at me and said, "You have inspired me to get healthy. I am starting to walk now, too." He started by doing just a little and within the past six months has shed over 50 pounds! I keep trying to convince him…

Yesterday at work, an older lady came in and looked at me and said, "You are getting so skinny. You just look lovely. Your mom would have been so proud of what you have done." (Made me cry!) From a friend's brother last week, "I didn't recognize you in that dress! Turn around...Look at those curves!" I never used to like…

I started out at 299 pounds and have lost just over 106 in almost one year; however, the more you have to lose, the easier and faster it comes off. Now that I am getting closer to my goal, the weight is coming off much more slowly. My body gets used to hard workouts and less calories, so every once in a while I have to…

That's awesome! I just had the happen a few weeks ago and it made me feel like a million bucks! Enjoy the happiness!!!

Fabulous job!!! You look wonderful!

I'm so sorry you were treated that way! You are doing a great job...don't let anyone take away your pride! Some people are just plain mean and shouldn't be allowed to be around other people. I am SOOOOO glad you went somewhere else and were treated well. I will never shop at that store again because of your story! Keep up…
