Day 3 - scale says down 2 today from holiday gain. I am encouraged! I am drinking more water , walking at lunch and not snacking after dinner. Hoping I can complete a full week of being on target! Fingers crossed!

I will walk three miles in 60 mins day 1. I used to do it in 45 mins but if I can break 60 min in days two and three I will be thrilled! Thanks again for the motivation!

OK, so this is the longest I think I have been consistent with a challenge. This is a great group for motivation! I went Christmas shopping last night and didn't get to walk my normal 3 miles, but actually woke up early with my husband and we both exercised on the treadmill. Day 1 stayed within goal and walked for an hour after dinner and so far of Day 2 is great. I can eat well all day and even my dinner, but it is around 9-10pm when I am looking to put something in my stomach. Last night I ate some peanuts - but wish I could learn to love that empty pit stomach feeling. Any ideas?

Someone said to me "why bother" just eat what you want because you can't lose weight over the holidays. No! That is not the right attitude - don't pig out...keep trying. I'm in.

Don't DO IT! Ok, so you ate the Chinese food. Do NOT go eat chocolate and juice you will feel worse about what you did. You have the right idea, get back on track. Do eat your salad, eat some fruit, drink lots of water - to offset the sodium of Chinese food. Do not starve yourself, that would be counter productive. Go for…
