Way to go!!

I always eat breakfast, but I'm always hungry in the morning. :)
-
I buy mine From Steve's Original, who also sells Paleo Kits. Good stuff.

I'm 5'10'', 149lbs. and I wear a size 8.

I agree! I LOVE Almond butter. Macadamia nuts are sooooo much tastier than peanuts, in my opinion.
-
One of my go to snacks is nitrate-free lunch meat dipped in mustard. I also have a recipe for salmon cakes, which I also put mustard on.
-
-Switch to black coffee. I need to cut out the creamer. -Try my damndest to complete a 5K (I'm not a very good runner). -Try two new Paleo recipes every month

Here is a site about Almond Flour substitution: http://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/3520/cooking-with-almond-flour

I lost about 11 pounds since starting Paleo, but ten of those pounds was in the first two weeks. I'd like to lose five more, and I'll have to get much stricter in order to do that.

Hate, hate, hate burpees! I'm slowly getting better at them, but they are still evil! During the WOD yesterday, I probably did around 60 burpees... and I threw up in my mouth a little. : )

I have made a lifestyle change and now eat Paleo (also known as Primal or the Caveman diet).
-
I eat Primal / Paleo, which basically means I am gluten and sugar free. Although I occasionally eat fruit and 72% cacao dark chocolate. :)

When you take pictures of your blisters, bruises and callouses and are proud to share them with the world.

I roast mine in the oven. Halve, sprinkle with salt and pepper, turn open-face side down on a cookie sheet, and cook at 375 for 40 minutes.

I've done two Tough Mudders, and here is my best advice: -When it comes to the ice water, just get in and get out as fast as you can. The cold water is disorienting, and the longer you are in the water... the worse it is. Wait for the person ahead of you to get out, so you don't have to wait in the ice water for them.…

I still do count calories and I eat the same amount of calories I did on SAD. Are you counting your calories? You may not be eating enough.
-
-Peanut butter is a no-no. Peanuts are legumes and legumes are off-limits. You can substitute with almond butter, cashew butter or sunbutter. I LOVE almond butter. -If you stick with the strictly organic, cage-free, grass-fed stuff, unfortunately it is a little more expensive. I think it's worth it to know I'm putting more…

I've hear a lot of people say that they just aren't as hungry while Paleo, but that's not my experience. I feel about as hungry as I've always been, and I've been Paleo/Primal for almost four months. I just make sure I keep plenty of good snacks around.

My dress was Romona Keveza. Her dresses are a little pricey, but they are gorgeous!

That's awesome!!! Way to go!

I usually eat eggs and bacon/sausage. If I'm in the mood for something sweeter/carb-like, I love Steve's Paleo Krunch Grain-free cereal. You can serve up a bowl of it with some almond milk. His website also has some great snack foods. http://stevesoriginal.com/

Focus on all the great things you get to eat, versus all the things you are missing out on. I used to eat a very low-fat but high-carb diet. I was so worried about cutting out the carbs, but eventually realized that I get to eat all of these wonderful, rich foods now that I'm Primal/Paleo. I used to avoid steak, bacon,…

For me, the first 7-10 days were rough. I was so tired, had terrible headaches, and my stomach had a difficult time adjusting to the lack of carbs and addition of more proteins/fats. I know it's rough now, but it gets better. In a week or so, you'll feel like a million bucks!
-
Love it!!

It took me about a week to get over the "carb flu", which was filled with fatigue and headaches. After about I week I felt better and my digestive system was functioning a lot better. I also lost ten pounds in the first two weeks, which made me feel great!
-
I try to keep my carbs (which includes sugars) between 50-100g per day.
-
I agree. Have you talked to the trainers about your injuries and see if they can modify things for you?
-
Welcome to Paleo! I have been Paleo/Primal for three months, and I love it! My two favorite cookbooks are Practical Paleo and Make It Paleo. The first week of Paleo is the hardest, and then it isn't bad after that. Best of luck!

About five months after starting Crossfit, I started researching Paleo. It has worked well for me. I'm actually more Primal. It's a little less restrictive than Paleo, so it was a good place for me to get started. I recommend Mark Sisson's Primal Blueprint: 21-Day Challenge. Good luck on your journey!
