Little butter, nutritional yeast and curry powder. Shake together in paper bag or lidded bowl.

1)Nuts are my quick go-to but of course are high in calories 2)Hummus, other bean dip, or greek yogurt dip with veggies 3)Cottage cheese is great if you eat dairy 4)Keeping a cold quinoa salad (lots of great recipe variations out there) in the fridge can help 5)luna bars That's all I can think of for now...

Hey new buddy! I would suggest checking out some blogs instead of cookbooks (they're free!!). Here are some I keep an eye on. Many are vegan which might be good for you because of your egg and dairy restrictions as well. Happy reading!!! http://ohsheglows.com/ http://peasandthankyou.com/ http://www.theppk.com/…

I've never heard anything about any risks. I've heard that the RDA's are actually too low. As vegetarians ( who are eating healthy) it's hard for us not to have a large daily intake. As long as you aren't having digestive issues, I wouldn't see a problem.

Some people just aren't good socially....good for you for sticking with your healthy habits, in the end we can only be responsible for our own actions. Seems I've been really lucky in co-workers. We all eat together everyday and everyone packs their lunches. Good homemade stuff, with lots of fruits and veggies. It makes it…

Wow thanks! Good karma coming your way.

Not true, my kids go everywhere with us! Camel riding in the Egyptian desert, hiking up the Acropolis, climbing to the tops of ancient Aztec pyramids. Kids see things with a fresh and exciting perspective. I can't bear the thought of traveling anywhere without my two boys there to share it with me.

I was on for a couple years and steadily gained. It's not the shot that makes you gain, it's your increased appetite. I might have gained anyway (cause I continued to do so even after I stopped Depo). If you monitor your calories you can control it.

I try to hit 50g everyday with my 1500/day allowance ( per my doc). I get it from whole foods, dairy, some eggs and the occasional Luna bar after workouts. I try to combo my proteins to make them complete ( eg. legumes and whole grain together). Some days I get up to 70g when I am really focused on it. Brussels sprouts…

I log it all!

If you consider eating clean a strict diet plan, then no, bars are not allowed. To me "eating clean" is just another name for eating whole foods. It's a way of life, not a rigid code. If you want a bar, eat a bar. I like Luna brand. I also eat a ton of fruits veggies, and whole grains everyday. Whatever makes you happy and…

Another great one, you're on a roll today!

Brown rice, 100% whole wheat bread (no high fructose corn syrup, or weird preservatives), whole wheat or spelt tortillas, whole wheat or rice or jerusalem artichoke flour pasta, potatoes (sweet and reg.), fruit (it's got plenty of carbs) I'm sure there's plenty more but that's a start.

Sounds great, thanks for sharing!

Yum!

Whole wheat quesadillas with lots of veggies and beans. Chop veggies ahead and always keep a container in the fridge. Little bit of cheese and some salsa and you are set!
