Stay fat (or hairy) if it's easier.

Not really, if I want to eat more I go burn more. There have been days I went over my calories but it's not very often and I'm OK with it and whatever impact it might have on my goals.

Nice perspective! Everyone meets their Dozer eventually and it's good to have a plan of action in place. I think starting with MFP and a good healthy breakfast was smart. Myself I probably would have bought the one full-size bar, that fun size bag would have been toast in my greedy hands. Then again I'd have ended up…

Nothing wrong with walk/run to get you back in the swing of things. Even after you can run 3 straight, you might want to do walk/run intervals for speed training, but not for every run.

I've been trail running in the evening wearing a headlamp. I have a couple friends I go with. My pace is slower but at least I am getting out!

Just because something is scary, gross, or unnerving doesn't mean it is wrong. That's why the term 'comfort zone" was coined. And no book can dictate your lifestyle to you. You are responsible for taking the information presented and using it in the way you see fit. In this case if you feel the need to be vegan then be…

bump for later Thanks for putting the effort in on this one!

Um...YUM!! That menu sounds amazing!!

Sounds like you aren't ready to commit yet. Being successful requires perseverance and consistency...not everyone can do it. Are you one of the people who can?

Jaime from the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. **swoon**

Haven't made this particular recipe yet, but it's on my list. The post also has great step-by-step photos on how to roast one. http://ohsheglows.com/2012/09/28/creamy-avocado-spaghetti-squash-pasta-how-to-roast-spaghetti-squash/

I've got a bar of Green and Black's Organic Dark Chocolate w/ Hazelnuts and Currants in my cupboard. I break off a square of that when I need a fix:)

**head smack** Monthly photos!! Why didn't I think of that??! You look amazing by the way:) Fantastic commitment to achieving your goals!

Some good ideas here! We tend to get in a rut too... If I can I try to make a batch of healthy muffins on the weekend. These get me through those busy/late mornings when time is always running short.

I just had a bowl of spaghetti squash for lunch topped with tomato-basil pasta sauce and a few veggie meatballs. Yum!!

I don't have any technical info for you on intensity vs. duration but I do know it's more important to do something (even low intensity) than nothing. Sorry to hear you are hungry while eating vegan. That can't be good. I guess make sure you are getting enough bang for your buck with calories ( you know the deal....more…

Wustof Santoku 7", it's pretty much the only knife I've used in years with the exception of serrated knives for bread or tomatoes.

Yes it is! I started C25K earlier this year thinking I would die on those 60 second runs. Now I can run 5 miles regularly with no problem, and am tackling a 12 mile trail run this weekend (there may be some walk breaks). I've been focusing on distance over pace and am looking forward to half-marathon training soon.

I'd stay away from the straight cheese kind unless you love vegan "cheese". Try spinach ones ( they are usually in a creamy sauce, maybe a cashew cream?) or bean varieties. Here is a recipe for burrito filling that I made which was fantastic, maybe you can adapt for enchiladas...…

**raises hand** I like to start my day out right! There is no easy way to get yourself up early. You just do it day in and day out until it's a habit and then you can be proud to say you are one of THOSE people. If it was easy everyone would do it:)
-
C25K was perfect for easing the muscles into running form. I had some mild shin splints in the beginning but they faded after a week or 2. I think you just need to slowly build up to longer distances. Now I can run 5-6 miles with no major issues.

Nope. I saw screw 'em and get my fat *kitten* in the pool. This is about ME!
-
Jigglypuff for sure. Turtwig a close second.
-
I'm a newish runner (started this Feb with C25K). Just broke 6 miles this morning:)

Yes, exercise calories taste better. No one can tell you what to do, you can choose to follow MFP's recommendations (eat the exercise calories) or not. Maybe try both ways and see what floats your boat.
-
I would think intervals would be the way to go. If it were me I might try 10:1 or 15:1, but then again I don't like stopping once I get going:)
