Get of facebook and look up the page "The couch to 5k program" then maybe "the bridge to 10k". Good info there for beginner runners.

Also, it's "A lot" not "alot".

A serving of benefiber is 1 net carb... just fyi.
-
Benefiber is great... It's a fine power that mixes into pretty much anything. You'll never know it's there, since it's tasteless/odorless. Two teaspoons is 4 carbs and 3 fiber which is a NET CARB count of 1. It's a good compromise.

Come on, you can put car oil in a bike if it's not "energy conserving". =P

I feel your pain like you wouldn't believe. I want to love bell peppers, they look great, they smell great. When I see someone that had ordered a fajita my mouth waters......................................until I try to eat one then I gag.

It's still January.. The "fall off the wagon" new year's resolution people will clear out usually by early march.

Most definitely. I wasn't being negative at all. I was just offering a word of caution based on a road that I myself have traveled.

Usually I eat them, sometimes I don't. I most always use them as a nice cushion to pad my normal daily goals. Once I get the exercise in I don't feel near as restricted on what I can have since I added more calories available to my day.

One word of warning, from experience.... If you've been making your own food at home, don't let the convenience of moving to these lead to worse options. Lean cuisines might be just "a little" worse for you than home made, then the hot pockets might be just a little worse than the lean cuisines, then McDonalds is just a…

Ground sirloin, better than standard ground beef in both fat and taste. Many times I find some cheap cuts of steak that is cheaper per pound than ground beef either due to the sell by date or whatever... I snatch these up and put them in the meat grinder attachment on the kitchen aid.

I love p90x, but beachbody's shakeology... Not headed down that road.

The daily weigh ins help me greatly. I love seeing the big picture that's created over time of the line graph going down regardless of the ups and downs that slowly create the whole line. It takes time, but it's that big picture view that keeps me sane about it. I know the same can be done with weekly weigh ins but to me…

I think I'm some sort of freak of nature... There are days that I fluctuate up to 5lbs DAILY. I usually weigh daily and usually shortly after I wake up (after hitting the bathroom, etc.). I wear the same clothes too. I know people fluctuate, and everything I read said a couple pounds are normal. It doesn't bother me at all…

Maybe losing the weight to have a better home for the first 9 months for baby?
-
I know that, but thanks. When blood sugar drops it's a trigger for you to eat. You do the math on what keeping a stable blood sugar benefit will be. I'm not going to explain.
-
It's not necessarily to keep your metabolism up, but to keep your blood sugar stable throughout the day without the peaks and valleys between meals.

Well, favorite is probably a strong word, but unforgettable is: "Her placenta falls to the floor..." Band: Live Song: Lightening Crashes

Check out the "acceptable food list" for Atkins induction. Eat up.

Maybe you should go hunt and chase every meal you have down too. You say exercise isn't a factor? Cavemen did not have delivery...
