Hello, I’m currently travelling so will post where I’m at when I get back next week. I was really sick the last 2 weeks and dropped 5lbs. Wow @techqu767 you're doing amazing! You've lost 1/6th of your weight already. I've been overweight the last 20 years too. I've been dieting since August 7th. It's coming off slowly for me but I'm happy I've stuck with it for 3 months.

If you used MFP previously, it's likely picking up an older weight as your starting weight. Go to My Home/Check-in, scroll to bottom and click "edit previous entries" then change you starting date. That fixed mine.

I would recommend a keto (low carb) diet. I've tried many diets and the keto diet is the only one I've stuck to (3 months). I agree with others that there is no need to eat all of your carb limit. I would only eat it if you are hungry. A medium banana has 27g carbs. Add some extra veggies or a couple pieces of fruit.
