As someone mentioned above, you may need to recalculate your calorie goals. If you haven't gone into your settings/goals recently, I would recommend it. It will give you an updated calorie allowance based on your current weight.

I focus on calories and carbs. I tend to eat more protein than the traditional keto diet recommends, so I do not worry about the protein and fat macros. I would recommend counting calories so you do not go over. Cheese, nuts, avocado, etc are all delicious and good for keto, but can run up your calorie count quickly.

Hi OP! I have been following Keto for several months and have enjoyed it. I agree with other posters that you don't need Keto to lose weight, but it has been a valuable tool for me. In response to your questions, there are usually low-carb alternatives for all of the things you listed. Cauliflower crust pizzas are a great…

Choczero and Curly Girlz both have good keto-friendly chocolate candy. You can order them online. They are a bit pricey, but delicious!

Any straight alcohol or alcohol with club soda/water (e.g., vodka with soda and lime) would be a good choice. Most straight liquors (rum, bourbon, vodka, tequila, scotch, gin) have no carbs. So if you add either water or club soda to those, you would have a no carb drink. Dirty martinis are typically vodka with olive…

Blended with frozen greek yogurt or similar ice cream treat with a tsp. of unsweetened cocoa powder for a quasi-milkshake. In addition to everyone else's suggestions, it's also good in overnight oats.

Theo 70% dark chocolate with sea salt; Trader Joe's 70% dark chocolate with caramel and black sea salt; Trader Joe's dark chocolate toffee with walnuts & pecans. Generally anything over 70%; bonus if it includes sea salt or caramel.

You may have more luck asking how things are prepared rather than for nutrition information. For example, if you can find out whether the vegetables served on the side are roasted in olive oil or sauteed in butter, you can estimate your calories more accurately. Every restaurant should be able to tell you how a dish is…

I use a shoe pouch. It's a small pocket/pouch that velcros over your shoe laces. You don't feel it during your run. The pouch is large enough to hold keys, a credit card or ID, and some cash. They sell them at a number of sporting goods stores. RoadID sells them online and includes your emergency contact info and any other…

I'm running into this now. If your hotel has the standard continental breakfast, pick a few meals that you like and rotate between them. E.g., cereal with banana one morning (most hotels have at least one healthier cereal on offer), english muffin with 2 hard boiled eggs the next, oatmeal the next. A lot of hotels also…

I'm in! I bought the DVD about a week ago and have been procrastinating starting. This will be the jumpstart I need!
