Yes you can. I am 47. i realised the scale was creeping up on me.I lost 5 lbs from Thanksgiving to today. I reduced my calories to 1200 and exercise 5 days a week.

Whenever the scale shows 145, I start restricting my food. Around Thanksgiving , I was 147 because I was neglectful. I panicked. I don't want to gain again and have to buy bigger clothes. Today I am down 142.6. The closer to 140 the more I like it.

I don't know how much weight I 've lost doing zumba. I love it. I go to a live class 3-4 times a week. 1 hr per class.
