  • My question always is: Will I regreted it? If I stay in bed, it's probably a yes. If I workout, it's a no for sure! I NEVER regret working out and sweating my a** off! :)
  • I'm no expert, but I would just suggest that if you couldn't hold your lunch, make sure you have a sensible, light dinner. Avoid anything to heavy on your upset stomach. Calorie wise, no idea, sorry!
  • 1028, but that's it for me for today... Good luck!
  • So, what's up! Haven't heard from you guys!!! Truhvn - how are you feeling? Are you ready to start back again? Let me tell you, I love my elliptical, so headed off there today for 1 1/2 hrs and I told myself I HAD to do S in 6 whatever the outcome. Put the DVD on and was double thinking to do it or not. I started with the…
  • I bought the Slim in 6 program about 2 yrs ago and really like it. Never signed up for anything though... 2 yrs ago I reached my goal weight-wise and I was fit & toned. Now, I'm trying to get there again, but had no idea about the WOWY thing. What do I need to do?
  • Try freezing the Dannon Light & Fit yogurts - 80 calories and really satisfying! Also, drink plenty of water and brush your teeth frequently, at least it works for me! Good luck!
  • How many lbs to lose? Are you new to MFP? What's your workout like?
  • Oh, I forgot! Being in culinary school and I guess being an awsome chef, give us your favorite recipes!
  • Absolutely amazing!!!! Not only have you lost ALL that weight, you look SOOOOOOOO healthy and fit! Way to go! How's your blood pressure now? Give us more stats health-wise! What an inspiration!
  • Hope you feel better Truhvn! Drink plenty of water and rest! Once you're all better, come back with Ramp it Up and pick up where you left off. We'll be here! We still have more weeks ahead of us, so just focus on getting better. Me, I couldn't do the DVD again, sorry! I just love my tennis and on Thursdays I ralley really…
  • 4 more days and you'll get there! Then, by the 2nd week of Burn it Up, we'll probably have the same problem LOL!!! But we'll stick with it! Do the program! Look who's preaching! I've been really working out but, once again, today I wasn't able to do the S in 6. Had a great bike ride and then headed to a tennis match, so…
  • Yeah, I know! When I did the program a few yrs ago and was really into it for a full 4-5 wks, I did see the change in my body. I felt really fit, defined, no wobbly skin, feeling great in a bikini, clothes all fit very loose (maybe too much - but I felt great!). So keep pushing play everyone; we'll get there! I didn't have…
  • Thanks for the stats, MTDork87! I'm motivated but not extremely excited... I wanted my body to have changed a bit, but I guess I've been cheating too much as well... And thanksTruhvn for the recipe. Will try!
  • Truhvn - great job, even with your downfall!!! Keep it up! Burn it up is tough, but just go at your own pace... I'm started to get a little bit bored by it just because I've done it so many times I know it by heart. Every time I do it, the exercises seem to be easier and my muscles don't hurt as much. "Keep pushing past…
  • Excuse my ignorance, what are HIIT's???:ohwell:
  • Yes, I do have intervals and incline! Will do! Thx!
  • I usually have a hard time seeing the differences when people gain or lose weight, but you can definitely tell! Way to go! Keep on moving!
  • Hi! Welcome! I really like this site! I joined a few weeks ago and it's kept me really focused and motivated (with the weekend exceptions when I hang out with friends and have a few drinks!). If there's anything I can help you with, let me know! I'm not a guru in this (far from it!), but I try to be motivated. I have 6 lbs…
  • When do you start Burn it Up??? The ab 10 min workout is great! I love it!
  • Hi! Ended up at the wine bar and with the excuse of waiting for our friends to come, we ordered some scotch in the meantime... More scotch, a bit more, some more....6 hours later: some champaign! We were celebrating our friends 17 yr anniversary and we were 10 friends having tons of fun. I did try to make good food…
  • Congrats on doing the DVD and choosing healthy options at dinner. I'll think of you in a few hrs... Going out with husband and good friends to a wine bar (love wine!)... I'll try to make good decisions on dinner, thanks to you, MTDork87! I'll send my stats Monday morning (hopefully I can burn out tonight's wine!). Talk to…
  • Didn't get to the DVD again... I just love tennis and I kept going until I had no more time for anything but work & kids! For sure tomorrow!!! Burn it up and some elliptical machine... I'll keep you posted! When do we need to measure ourselves again???
  • Hahahaha! Funny story about the bug! Besides these DVD's, do you play soccer regularly as well? To be honest, I only use the resistance bands in the first 2 exercises (rows and biceps) and then use small weights. The bands are a bit uncomfortable when you have to stretch them from the floor all the way up! They get…
  • Yeah, I have a matt and really helps on all 4s. What about the last leg exercise when after doing "extend & release", and "straight leg & down", and then "flex the foot and curl", THEN "push up & downs"!!!! That part is one of the toughest for me, when you have done all those exercises and then have to continue with…
  • And by the way, MTDork87, great picture!!! Hope to see you on the big screen soon! :)
  • Thanks for pushing me to do this! I went out for a great bike ride with my husband this morning (5:30-7:00 AM) and a heavy pace and then came home for the Slim in 6 - Burn it Up. Felt great! I don't know if you already reached the Burn it Up, but the part where we're on all 4s in terrible!!! I've always been able to do it…
  • Thanks for the welcome! I will weigh myself tomorrow and send you measurements as well! So excited! I've done Slim in 6 and had great results 1 1/2 yrs ago. I see you're still in Ramp it Up. I skipped the first 2 programs and started this morning with the Burn it Up DVD (I know the exercises very well). I also did the 11…
  • Looks like you're late like me! :) And, like me, a little worried about Xmas! Let's start tomorrow with Slim in 6... I'll do the Burn it Up DVD.
  • Am I too late to join??? I know the program pretty well and believe in it! I've done it and was in great shape about 1 1/2 yrs ago, with my ideal weight. I want to get back on track, and because I know the program and because you already started, I would start tomorrow with the Burn it Up DVD, plus my occasional tennis…
  • Go to message board, facts/nutrition - there's a great comment about calorie deficit! Very interesting!!! I usually try not to eat when I'm not hungry, but maybe with the amount of activity I have, I should eat more. Maybe this is what's keeping me stuck in a plateau... I guess the thing is to avoid sweets, anything fried,…
