If I tried to skip dinner, it would bite me in the butt the next day because I'd be ravenous. I'd eat my normal dinner and just move on.

Yes, I absolutely need metrics to help me focus on my goal. I can brainwash myself that I'm doing well when I am actually completely off course. I don't really care what the scale says, I'm going for a certain look. Progress photos are best for this (even though I do weigh daily and log it).

It's tradition for me to go get a cookie molcajete and a couple of margaritas at my favorite Mexican restaurant after a powerlifting meet. It is 100% absolutely worth it!

That's pretty good if you're just starting tracking. Just tweak it a little over time to get closer to your goals. You don't have to be 100% perfect every day.

Ugh. I work with one of these. She's going to a naturopath (sp?) for her cervical cancer!!! Thankfully she is also going to an oncologist, but she trusts the naturopath more. :s
