Just got my Charge HR about a week ago. So far I'm loving it.

I'm with you...I feel like the month of October has been on giant feeding frenzy.

Yes, this is the story of my life. In four months, I've lost 14 inches but the scale has barely budged (10 lbs). In that time I have worked out more than I ever have in the past and have diligently tracked my calories. Stupid scale, now I'm focused on the inches lost not the number on the scale. Keep up the great work.

I wouldn't say that I'm reluctant to workout but I do have reservations with working out in a group. No one wants to be the only one struggling or feel like you're holding up the group.

You look great...congratulations! I'm so happy that you have found a healthy & happy weight.

I tried it on my leg (left leg, right below my knee) this week. I was very diligent to make sure I only wore on my leg while on the bike. It seemed to be more in-line with the estimated calorie burn per the body media calculators. So I'm thinking I'll be wearing it there for my riding activity from now on. I'd love to…

I am also experiencing the same "problems" with my BodyMedia while cycling. I was so depressed when it only registered about 500 calories for a 2.5 hour ride averaging 13.5 miles per/hr, but maybe I'm not working as hard as I thought. I'd love to know if anyone has better success with wearing it lower on your arm or on…

Try to just enjoy it. My first tri was about 3 weeks ago with the same goal...just finish! Relax, if you have trained for the separate events you will be fine. Here's hoping for a great race!

Great idea. Please add me.

I also only weigh monthly, for the same reasons. The flucuation drives me crazy and can really mess with my progress. I also take measurements and a photos for comparision.

I’ve been a vegetarian for about 7 years and am slowly working into a Vegan diet. I’m following forks over knives as a base. Sent you a friend request.

I bought a bike today actually...I'm assuming I will also be very slow. But I'm glad to hear perseverance will win out because I also signed up for my first sprint triathlon in 12 weeks (goal to finish). Good luck on your rides, keep us posted.

BodyMedia intagrates really well with MFP. I only enter my food in MFP and BodyMedia picks the calorie consumed number up and nets it against you calories burned. Additionally, MFP syncs your calories burned from Body media and adjusts you calorie budget for the day.

I know it's the day before but I'd really like to participate if it isn't to late.

I was so excited to see this thread. I'm Kat, 34 years old, currently living in Arizona. My goal is to lose a total of 98 to 113 lbs., I'm down 13 so far. I'm looking forward to finding some supportive MFP friends. I put the majority of the weight on while in school and working full time but have yet to shed more than 20…

For hot chocolate you could also use almond milk or I've seen (but haven't tried) nut milk coffee creamers which I would assume have a thicker texture and mouth feel. Or if you are not opposed to coconut try lite coconut milk (canned) mixed in with your plant milk. Most dark chocolates are vegan just check the label. Use…
