I agree. MFP is like therapy for me. Most of my real friends are already in great shape and don't understand why I am so crazy about scanning and logging my food all the time and pre-planning my workouts for the week. It's nice to have friends that understand what I am going through on here!

My policy is to only log true workout sessions - outdoor runs/gym sessions/workout dvds. I think I would be doing myself a disservice by adding back the other calories from regular activity. I have the polar FT7 and I love it! It's changed the way I workout and I am convinced it's one of the main reasons I keep making progress.

I actually think I do better at work now that I am more confident as a result of my weight loss and I also dress better! From a physical perspective, I can actually run a 5K without stopping/huffing & puffing like before!

I love this thread. It's so motivating. Congrats to everyone on their transformations. One trend I noticed was weight lifting! I think I'll be adding that into my workouts ASAP!
