Where is your study/proof that "for obese people, it really doesn't screw with their metabolism,"?

Maybe if you acknowledge people trying to help you when they take the time to post and not make excuses as to why people's opinions aren't "answering your questions" then people won't make a joke out of what this post has become. Good luck, hopefully this time you'll figure out what's right so you keep the 70+ pounds off…

but you're not answering his question, haha! (nor are you the one person who has a friend of a friend who thinks it's a good idea and has been successful and is doing super great)

agree 100 percent!

So, why are you asking questions if you already seemingly know what you need to do? No one is trying to bash you, but seriously it's silly to ask questions and then criticize the answers from people who have experience.

Honestly? If you starve yourself to potentially lose 5 pounds a week then most likely you will find yourself back in the same place you are after your first huge weight loss in a few years. 1000 calories is way too low to be eating on a regular basis. In my opinion, and seemingly the opinion of most of the things I've read, 1200 is even too low. Read the article links posted by other members on this page, it'll give you a better sense of where you should be and other message boards will give you good ways to…

I was thinking the same thing, haha.

Definitely best to have something in your stomach besides caffeine when you take so many vitamins! Agree with the salad suggestion so you don't feel bloated and overloaded from the (delicious) mac and cheese- or, maybe a sandwich with lean protein (or low fat, all white meat turkey burger), avocado, etc? Lots of yummy…

Hello! For a lot of us this whole process is intimidating, especially when you really focus on paying attention to all the food you eat. No matter how much you have to lose and how many times we probably have all been on and off the bandwagon the message boards are a huge help in this world and support from friends and…

You could also air pop popcorn in your microwave if you don't have a popper- use a brown paper bag (the lunch size bags), put in your popcorn, and tape it with scotch tape- the timing depends on your microwave/altitude (lived in NJ and 3-3:30 min was enough, now in Denver and it takes about 2 minutes and then starts…
