Hi All, I am from Houston TX too. I have spent a good deal of my life at just over 300. I started my latest exercise diet kick this summer at 310 and am at 256 now with a goal of 155. I have lost over a 100 several times before but hope to make it stick this time. Too hard on me at 40 to keep cycling up and down. It can be…

One day out of 365 won't sink your efforts. It takes 3500 extra calories to gain a pound. It might slow you down a tiny bit but as long as you don't use it as an excuse to quit altogether I think you will be fine.

I have lost over 100 lbs three times in the past. Currently have lost 53 lbs and will get down at least another 50. Always top out a little over 300 lbs then I just get too uncomfortable in my body and start losing. I am going to try and keep it off this time. At 40 it is just too hard physically to be that fat.

I respect you ambition but I would be surprised if you could improve that much in that short of time. I have run off and on for years and have run several 5Ks, a couple half's and one marathon. In the beginning you do get faster quicker but it is really hard to near impossible to improve that much. Just run for your on PR…
