  • I agree with you on what you have said, 100%.... yet people don't look further than the post. they just see the post and initially react to it. They don't think of the possibilities behind it, only that the standing post might look like some attention seeking ploy. As it seems on many of the threads here, "they" don't…
  • It's sad that a lot of society nowadays feel it's within their right to make horrible comments/remarks.I don't know what type of kick they get out of hurting people, and to think that these people are or will be breeding a new class of society. I shiver at the thought of how THEY will be. This madness has got to stop. BUT…
  • Good luck! At least you are taking the steps to better yourself. I'm sure you will tweak your path as you go, that's the mark of a good adventurer!
  • I just shot you a message and a FR! :)))))
  • I love this idea!!! I didn't know that there was such a thing. I got a gob of pals that are constantly going on about how they hate this or that (shoot, I get in that rut at times) and I always try to get them to focus on the positive! the post-its are a GREAT idea! I have literally written "I LOVE YOU" with an arrow…
  • AMEN!!!!! don't waste your time on her. if she wants it, then she needs to make the effort. It's like trying to help an alcoholic who won't put the bottle down. jsut cuz they've talked about it, doesn't mean that they are ready for it yet. if she shows any initiative, beyond talk...then help her.
  • I WILL continue to drink water......lots of it. I WILL continue to chew my food...more than 4-6 chews (as I used to do) I WILL continue the mindset that If i want to be bad, I better feel that I have deserved to eat/drink that way (I need to work hard for such an indulgence) I WILL continue the mentality that indulgence is…
  • Love it!!!!!! You seem to have the ability to think around the box. The injury is just gonna make you think of more creative ways to be healthy. What's so wrong with that? makes you really know that you want it! yay!
  • I like runkeeper. I can track my outside activity that way :)
  • I'm on the track for my 30lbs goal (down 9 so far). I would love to add you as a friend. I always got something peppy to say!
  • from now on, hide non-perishable snacks in your purse, like contraban. and remember, when you take that trip to the bathroom and stand by the bathroom door to eat, that you are doing yourself a favor. it doesn't seem fair that their obese habits need to be shoved down your throat. I understand the show of respect, but it…
  • I'm currently taking Zumba classes and I can say that from the moment of the class, for days after (normally until the next class starts up), I feel fantastic. It's completely loosened things up and beat my internals into submission. I was thinking of taking a yoga class on an off day, just to gain a center of balance…
  • I do feel that activity helps ease the pain (how odd, I know). I fear the winter/cold weather because I have an added gift of Raynaud's Phenomenon (which takes the circulation out of your hands/feet....then after awhile, rushes it back. feels like frostbite, the pain is horrible) which acts up in the cold. That means no…
  • I'm gonna be 37 in 6 days. :)x
  • My husband's friends and family "across the pond" say the same thing to him. He just answers that he has to dumb the accent down a bit, or no one would ever understand him. ha! I love taking my hubbs to the Scottish Arms restaurant, or to a place I know he will encounter fellow Scotsmen....I always know that the accent…
  • My husband is from Edinburgh and has migrated to the states for his wife (grin). When he lays on his Scottish Brogue, everyone around him just stops and listens.....and drools. lol
  • Go to the ritziest part of your town and hit up the resale shops/charity shops (i.e. Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc). Not only will you find super name brand clothing that at times are barely worn (and for yard sale prices), you are also doing the world a favor by being GREEN by buying gently used items. It's a win win win…
  • I'm close to you! age: 36 5'9" and some change HW: 187 CW: 175 GW: 145 (but would settle for 150-155)
  • i like to keep a 500 calorie deficit by the end of the day, and keep my carbs at or below 30gs per meal.
  • first off, hiya! secondly, you know that it takes a 3500 calorie deficit to see even a lbs come off. that means you gotta cut it out of your diet, or burn it off baby, burn burn burn. so if you are thinking 3-4lbs a week, that's between a 10,500- 14,000 calorie deficit a week. I don't know what your calorie intake was…

  • 36 With my husband, my 8 yr old son, my 1yr old rescued furbaby (sasha the flying pooch), and 3 gold fish (Toothless, Winnifred, and Morgan Freeman). ....oh....and dust bunnies. darn things are like tribbles....
  • I'm not as "priviledged" as you, but at my 38D, I find that wearing two sports bras help. I do have to get used to the constricted breathing for a moment, but for the most part, I find the two bras a help rather than a hinder.
