Hey! I am in my second year of grad school for Speech Pathology. I actually just saw the title of this post and am about to walk out the door, so I don't really have time to read or write much. I'm going to add you ladies as friends then come back and read and respond to this post. I just didn't want to do something as…

I know what you mean about feeling better when you are eating better. Even though it seems like more work, eating right and exercising actually gives me more energy. I have been doing well on MFP during the week days for a couple of weeks now, but when the weekend comes I go completely and fully off track. I need some…

Day 3 of 30DS. I was having some motivation issues, but finally buckled down and did the work out. I feel much better and glad that I did it :) I use 3lb weights and it's pretty challenging at times (especially during the front raises).

Count me in! I just started the 30DS yesterday and finished my day 2 workout today. I'm definitely feeling it. Feel free to add me as a friend for some support/motivation 'cause I'll be suffering right along with you!

Today I'll stay on track, so I'll be on track tomorrow too. Every day that I am on track I am more motivated to keep working toward my goals.

I also had this same question. Thanks to the posts I'll be starting the 30DS this week!

Hello! I can totally relate to your situation. I'm also 28 and married. I lost about 20lbs for my wedding 3 years ago and gained it all back. I've been on weight watchers and have tried other "diets", but ww just didn't seem to be helping as much as it once had. Not to mention, being a living-on-loans grad student, I hated…

I also struggle with the same things that you all mentioned here. I need some motivation and support to get the weight off. Feel free to friend me and we can help each other stay on track with goals!

Thanks for sharing this. I have considered trying therapy to help with some of the issues I have had with my weight. I definitely can relate to what you said about having learned as a child to have a certain relationship with food. Good luck in your efforts to form healthy habits!

Hello! I am also new here. I joined a few days ago and am still getting used to using the website. Even though I just started MFP, I've had a stressful/busy couple of days. I already haven't been keeping track very well! I hope to find motivation through this group. I think the buddy system is helpful when trying to form…

I will be starting my second year of a 2 year Master's program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I gained so much weight the first year. I'm looking for some inspiration to develop healthy eating habits even when life is stressful. Clara, I don't know how to manage when work/school is so demanding that I barely have…

I think it makes perfect sense to lose some weight before trying to get pregnant. I just joined MFP in part for the same reason. My husband and will probably try to start having kids within the next 2 years or so and I want to develop some healthy eating habits before then. I also understand that being a healthy weight…
