Thanks for the tips -- I'll start chugging the water!

Oooh, I hope so, because I plan on splurging on Thanksgiving. I was starting to feel a bit guilty about it, but maybe it'll be for my own good.... :)

Have maybe 8oz. about 15-20 minutes before your walk. Use the bathroom right before walking out the door, and bring a bottle with you, if you think you'll really need it, but try not to sip on it too much til the second half of your walk.

100 calorie packs of almonds, string cheeses, protein bars. Today I was in a time crunch and had a fruit and yogurt parfait from McDonalds and half of a Pure Protein bar....kept me full all morning! And it was only like 240 calories or something like that!

I know this won't help for tonight, but on a free day make up a crockpot of your favorite soup or stew, then freeze it in individual portions for later! Tonight I heated up a previously frozen portion of Darcibean's Creamy Mexican Crockpot Chicken, whipped up some boil in the bag brown rice and had a home cooked meal in 10…

I'm in Florida, doing the c25k program too! I'm in the St. Pete/Tampa area. I just got fitted at Feet First for my first 'real' pair of running shoes yesterday! I'm gonna send you a friend request now, I'd love to be virtual (or real life...not sure how far Melbourne is) running buddies!

I ended up getting a pair of Pearl Izumi's, which I had honestly never heard of, but I checked out the website and they actually seem to be a pretty legit running brand, which is cool. Southcoastsweet -- I usually run pretty much right when I get home, when it's just starting to dim outside. At the running store they also…

I usually put up a baby gate, keeping him in the kitchen and then fill a Kong with peanut butter and pieces of food, or matchstick carrots and give it to him. It keeps him occupied for awhile so that he doesn't stop whining. Works for even longer if you stick it in the freezer for an hour or so beforehand. :)

I'm 5'4", 24 y/o. I like some of the not so flashy stuff at American Eagle, as well as Old Navy, H&M and Express. And can't forget about Target!

Nicely done! Keep up the good work!

I went to my first class last night. I wore my HRM and started right when we began and ended right after the cooldown. Burned 444 calories. (I'm 5'4", 147 lbs.)

Congrats on your new home, and being able to enjoy a cheat meal without feeling guilty, and knowing it won't hinder all of your hard work! I'm working hard to stay at or below my cals everyday so that my over 900 calorie day can be Thanksgiving, and I won't have to feel to bad about it!

Friend request sent!

You have at least 4 'treats' in your menu already, depending on who's looking at it. Try to space them out and with smaller amounts. I usually try to eat healthy all day, saving calories here and there and then after dinner, treat myself with something. If you have a sweet craving, satisfy it in moderation -- one hershey…

For those of you who need help with the fiber....Fiber One has some ready to eat muffins in the freezer section. I get the blueberry -- yum! You can either put it in the fridge to thaw the night before, or straight from the freezer put it in the microwave for like 15 seconds. Their Fiber One bars are pretty tasty too. I…

Today I had an apple and string cheese for breakfast, and a Jimmy John's #12 Beach Club Unwich (lettuce wrap, no bread - turkey, sprouts, avocado spread, provolone cheese, tomatoes) for lunch Usually I have an egg white scramble for breakfast with one Jimmy Dean turkey sausage pattie chopped up, mushrooms, onion, 1/4…

Just ordered my Polar FT7 from Amazon for $89.99, and it was eligible for free shipping -- so excited for it to get here, it had great reviews. For anyone who's looking to buy an HRM, I found that Amazon had the best deals by far! :)

Bump! :) Sounds delish!

I love their #5 Vito, but it's 600 cals for just the sandwich! Insane! I've started getting the #12 in Unwich form (lettuce wrap) with no mayo & cheese....a delicious alternative for right around 300! Can't beat it!

Just finished up week 1 yesterday! I'm a week ahead but feel free to friend me and we can still support each other!

This is amazing and SO simple! I'm actually eating as we speak (...or type). I too used Laughing Cow - Light Swiss. Used 6 wedges, and it's perfect. I also added some broccoli since I had a bunch extra in the fridge. It looked a little watery, so I drained most of the liquid before adding the cheese. Yummy yummy yummy! And…

I did some research on it awhile back and decided not to go that route. If you end up having a greasy meal, you'll literally have the grease coming out your butt! And greasy, watery bowel movements. It supposedly gets rid of some of you fat or calories you eat, but mostly it works by scaring you into not eating the greasy…

khollyk Can't wait! I bought the p90x dvds a few months ago, along with the equipment but somehow life got in the way and I never started. This should be good motivation!

I had my breakfast (oatmeal) about 30 minutes after reading this, so it definitely wasn't on the top of my mind. I was reading some posts as I ate, and at one point I sat the bowl down to click another link, and at that point I realized "this is my eating pause". I immediately went and threw out the rest of my oatmeal and…

Bump! I've just started cooking with pumpkin this year, and I can't get enough!
