Bumping so I don't lose this before I get around to trying it!
-
It definitely is! I can't wait to get home and have leftovers for dinner!
-
Okay, YUM!
-
Bumping this so that I can look up those training programs later!
-
I used 5 pounders for everything except the anterior raises...had to use 3 pounders for those!

Your diary looks pretty good to me. You do a good job of evenly spacing your calorie intake! I'd listen to your trainer first (since he's the professional) but if it were me (seeing as how I don't have a trainer...) I'd try upping my calorie intake by 100-200 for a week or so and see what happens. That was necessary for me…

I did 3 weeks of it back in November/December with a group of co-workers, then the holidays came around and we were all in/out of the office at different times so we stopped, but we're getting ready to restart in the next few weeks! Make sure you do the fit test on day one and record your results accurately -- you'll…

I weigh 140 and burn between 215 and 245, depending on how hard I'm pushing myself. Some days I do 30 mins on the elliptical before, and I seem to burn less those days. Seems that my average is about 220ish though.

bump!

It totally is! I wish I had stopped myself, but it's my TOM and it was a rash decision, haha. Oh well...there's always tomorrow.
-
I totally agree. A few months back I plateau'd and actually posted something about upping my calories to get a loss, and lots of people said it had worked for them too! I'm totally for it!

Nice work -- the first week is the hardest! I'm sending a friend request!

Low Cal does not necessarily = healthy. I occasionally eat a Lean Cuisine if I'm in a crunch, but I wouldn't really say they're "healthy". Sure, they're healthier than fast food, but they have a lot of sodium. Try eating a turkey wrap, salad, veggie soup.... Get in a glass of skim or 1% milk to fill up your calcium…

It really was! The recipe I based it off of called for that Campbell's condensed cheese soup....this was a MUCH healthier alternative!

I'd take it easy, and maybe just focus on getting enough water, and eating clean. Give your body what it wants and needs. If you feel up to it, maybe take a walk, but I wouldn't push it. The quicker you get better, the quicker you'll be back to working out at 100%. Feel better! :)

Thanks everyone!

Agreed! DON'T do this! I tried it a few years ago with Gold's Gym after I had done everything properly (mailing them my cancellation notice and whatever else they asked) and they still didn't close my account. A few months later I got a collection bill. A lot of times if you move out of the area they'll let you cancel.…

Just made this...soooooo good! It had almost a sweet taste at first, but I added a good bit of freshly ground sea salt and pepper, and it tasted just like the insides of a pot pie! I had enough calories, so I baked up a frozen Pillsbury biscuit, and it was an AWESOME meal, for so few calories!

I started yesterday, but I'm in. :)

This sounds excellent! I'm going to look for one this weekend -- do they usually sell them at regular chain grocery stores? I love pasta but have been avoiding it due to the caloric content...so this sounds like heaven!

ALRIGHT! W1D1 outta the way! a. Accomplished: W1D1 b. The run was: ...actually much easier that I was expecting. Maybe all of my progress from my last attempt wasn't completely wasted. Although, I suppose I should wait til they up the running time more before completely making my judgement.

Wow, thanks for the quick responses! You're all SO right. I guess I'm so used to trying to keep my meals to around 400 calories, that the fact that I can consume more per meal pre-workout didn't even cross my mind! Blonde moment, haha. Thanks again!

I feel your pain. My boyfriend is in the Coast Guard and would go out on the boat for 2 month patrols and I'd do great, and when he got back, I'd fall behind on workouts and eating. We're long distance now until next summer, so I'm hoping to use my alone time to get into a habit of working out, hopefully it works. Like…

Hi Everyone, I'm Holly. I'm in the Coast Guard and am in a long distance relationship (for another 9 months) with my boyfriend, and am currently a single furmommy to our 1 year old black lab. lol. I'm going to do W1D1 tomorrow, because I already had a workout partner for today who didn't want to run, but that's okay. I'll…

Oh, I am sooo bumping this thread! Those burritos sound awesome!
