  • So happy to see you here, MRs. Cousin! I L-O-V-E LOVE this site! I think you will, too! BTW, I am shocked! You look phenomenal!
  • I say take it easy! I have been fighting the same thing. Today is the day I finally feel good - 14 days and 2 antibiotics later!! It's definitely a doozy and will kick your butt so just sit back and relax :flowerforyou:
  • I say yes, with dedication. There are37 weeks left this year. If you stay on track and lose 2 lbs/week that puts you at 74 lbs. 83 lbs is jsut around the corner from that!
  • I'm a chronic snoozer also. Putting the alarm clock across the room does help. Once you get there you just have to have the discipline to NOT get back in bed rather than trying to pry yourself up.
  • I've been there....they're not little things, they're life things. Don't settle. I got all those things the second time around and have never been happier. The right one is out there.
  • I quit one year ago this coming Tuesday the 12th! :drinker: This was before I started losing weight. I didn't gain any weight from quitting, but did start gaining a few months later when I changed jobs. You'll do a great job, I'm sure of it!

  • I have most of these, lol! I seriously examine any fruit or veggie to confirm that there are no worm or bug holes. I can't stand anything "looking" at me while I eat. I'm totally freaked out by juicy meat- I figure it must be raw. I always smell milk, no matter how fresh and I never eat dairy even on the day it expires. I…
  • Valentine's challenge was awesome, of course I'll join you again! Thanks, Taush!
  • You really could measure wherever you want..... my trainer does my bust (at the biggest point), my right upper arm, my right upper thigh, my waist (at belly button) and my butt/hips (again, at biggest point). the most important thing is to do it in the same spot in each area every time so your loss is accurate. Hope that…
  • I would guess that most of your belly will shrink rather than sag. A) You're still young. B) You aren't losing 100+ pounds. Just my thought :flowerforyou:

  • Here are just a couple of many threads about the same thing....quick research  http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/138657-tom-question?hl=tom+#posts-1887624 http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/159245-for-all-the-girls-normal-to-gain-wait-at-tom?hl=tom+#posts-2131157
  • Bump - me too!
  • Do a "search" on here for "exercise calories" and "net calories" and you will get more information than you could ever imagine! Short version - your body needs those extra calories when you exercise so eat some. :flowerforyou:
  • Motivation to make it through this month.... a concert with my hubby wearing a shirt that almost isn't too small anymore, and a weekend getaway with the same hubby lol  Motivation beyond that? Summer's coming! I have so many cute and sexy things that I haven't been able to wear in a long time!
  • I would split it down the middle then see how you feel. If you're starving all the time then you may need to increase it. If you aren't ever hungry then decrease it.
  • I had a Mirena for 6 years (and I loved it!). I never had a regular cycle. In fact, I had no period at all most of the time. I don't know the answer to your question, though...sorry!
  • You just need to make it public, then we can look
  • I have the same thing! Yuck :grumble:
  • Welcome, Kal! You are right, you will likely do much better if you interact with others. You will find that this is a great place for both support and accountability! Try to make lots of friends and check out their food diaries. Many people have them public, including me. Feel free to look at mine, but keep in mind I am in…
  • Another possibility.....TOM (THAT time)? Most women on here will tell you their weight creeps up around that time. Good news is it also creeps right back down afterwards!
  • My elliptical at the gym asks my weight. Those cals burned are usually within 50 calories of MFP's. I'm no scientist, nurse, trainer, HRM, etc but yours sounds low to me
  • We love the griller's prime "burgers" (even my hubby loves them!). We also get the maple "sausage" patties and I use them for breakfast.
  • I just wanna see yours!
  • Never checked out Red Lobster's nutritional values, but from my experience with lots of other restaurants, finding anything on the menu around 500 calories is a great find! I'd go with that one because I doubt you'll find anything better that's still fulfilling. Have fun!
  • Proactiv is good...you can buy it at most malls now, in those kiosks in the middle of the hallways.
  • Sounds interesting! I'm doing a Daniel Fast for 21 days. I started on Sunday. I am doing it for spiritual reasons, but am very interested in seeing how it affects my weight.
  • Ummmm, I dunno!
  • Exactly where I was at that age! Well, except I didn't quit smoking until 34 - 9 months and 2 days ago! You can do this!
