Hi everyone. I haven't been on MFP in a while so I am just starting to get back on track. Erinkhalsa, I may be interested in an exercise/ lifting buddy here soon. I have a membership to Planet Fitness and can bring guests for free. I have also used the UNM gym but it tends to get busy during peak hours sometimes.

I like to hike a little in the foothills. The bosque trails are also good for cycling. We also have inexpensive local pools and golf courses.

I might be up fro some hiking. I used to go a lot but haven't been in a while. As for safety, I have gone by myself to some locations without problem. I usually take my dog though. The bosque also has some nice trails and is generally cooler (also lower in elevation) but there is an increase in mosquitos in the summer.

Welcome Verka2000. I want to lose about 20-25 more pounds and get back in shape. I have been walking, doing some strength, and recently started playing golf. I am trying to watch my sugar intake and I no longer eat fast food. I wish you well! :smile:

Unfortunately, I just found out that the Abq Renn Faire is the same day. I have already pleged time for this event as my group and I will be part of the entertainment. :(

Just-tashat, You can do this. I think many, if not all of us have a hard time staying on track over the holidays. I am included in that statement. I just pick myself up and start again. I am rooting for you!
