All great suggestions. Or cut a courgette into strips the size of french fries, fry them and and use as dippers. Works with boiled aggs too.

Adding some pesto or coating in dukkah adds a real flavour. Or stuff with cream or goats cheese if you are doing low carb.

Have you looked at the 'active passive' diet? That gives an interesting take on low carb dieting.

Chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and roasted. LC food can be really self indulgent!

All the advice to start cooking is good. But look for good quality ingredients without additives or other chemicals. if you have a local deli or farmers market that is often a good place to start looking for local produce. You can often sample cheeses and meats. Just try a wide variety to see what you really like.

Why do people think its Ok to abuse others who are overweight? Can you imagine having someonelean out of a car and shout "Go F*cking you cold turkey you smoker" ...In fact there are lots of words to abuse fat people but I can't think of a single one for smokers, why is that?

I always drink coffee, and a few different types of tea without milk. Getting water from the office cooler has made it easier to add a few cups in and I notice that the days when I drink more water are more likely to be followed by weighs losses.

Have you thought about agave syrup as an alternative?

Completely agree that aged cheeses have much more flavour. Avoid processes cheeses because of the additives. Maybe try something like an aged gouda or gruyere. If you can get to cheese specialist they will usually walk you through the cheeses and give tasters so you find cheeses that you really like.
