I prefer white rice to brown rice, hands down. I eat it in moderation so I'm not concerned about the POSSIBLE pros of brown vs white. It was well said about the potatoes. However, white potatoes can spike your blood sugar more than sweet potatoes. Don't look at me for an article, this is from personal experience.

Sadly enough when I was born the nurse turned to my dad and said "Don't worry, she'll get darker" -.- How ignorant! He just cared that I was healthy, didn't care what color I was. Oh goodness I could go on for days. I'll get off this thread now.

My dad is black and my mom is white. I have some native american going back on both sides, but I've been told it's too far back to "count". My ex husband is white. I was like that with celery. I would never eat it because I hated the taste, smell, and texture. Now they are a great snack at work. Well done!

Haha I like this! I just tell people I want to lose weight and they tell me I look fine. Well thanks, but my weight puts me in the obese category and that's NOT fine. Not even close. I've just stopped talking about it to people who aren't supportive.

I'm on day 3! My legs wern't sore after day one, but they were after day two because I didn't stretch enough afterward. Looking forward to it!

Very nice! I always look at the 30DS before and afters and notice that the stomach usually has the most difference in tone. Keep up the good work. I'm on day 3 ^.^

I did day two today. My legs are sore because I didn't stretch enough afterwards though. I log it as circuit training and use an HRM to enter the calories. I'm hoping I can stick with it this time
