It’s wonderful, glad you are enjoying it.

Really hard to say with the way you’re standing with your arms behind. We don’t even get to really see you shoulders. Tour hair is shorter, that I can say with confidence

Wow

Outstanding. FYI, I look pretty similar to you and my abs started to pop at 20%( you know, the week before you go on vacation to the carribean ). It didn’t last, but made for some great vacation photos. Back up to 24% now. It was essentially the difference between 133 and 123 (I’m 5-7”) that made the difference

1080!

That’s a FIVE STAR year!

Love your persistence and perseverance and patience. The 3 “p”s of successful and long-term weight loss. I’m headed into year 4.

Sounds expensive and boring. I’ll pass.

I got a steroid shot and it cleared it up right away. A few other things, get new walking shoes frequently if you log a lot of miles and rotate between a few pairs. Also, do some walks with barefoot shoes once you get it under control and go barefoot when you can. A few show suggestions: hoka one for running, vivofit…

I’m not a man, and I have no idea what I weighed at 18, but whatever is was, I wish to hell I would have stayed within 10% of it for the last 33 years rather than what actually happened.

I have learned to substitute (and enjoy) lower calorie options of my favorite foods. Your menu would be: cauliflower crust pizza with no cheese and vegetables; oven roasted potatoes, black bean burgers, and banana nice cream. In regular portions.

If it were me, I’d pick up as normal with the next meal. Since you slept through breakfast, have your normal calories for lunch and dinner.

They’re fine, but not too filling. I usually put it over a bag of frozen broccoli (if a veggie things) or a pile of Zoodles (if a pasta things). If you have time to prep in Sunday’s that might be a better bet. I typically roast a bunch of different vegetables including a starch and toss them together. This week I made a…

You might want to try an experiment while you’re at it....cut out all dairy for a few weeks (cheese, milk, yogurt, all dairy) and see how you feel. If it doesn’t make any difference, add it back in. But you may find a huge difference (skin, stomach, sinus issues, etc).

I eat a ton of sweet potatoes, in fact, I’m slightly orange. Really. But I might suggest you cut back by a potato or two and add in some green leafy vegetables or broccoli to expand your nutrient profile

Could you be catching a cold? Close to your cycle? Could be coincidence.

Agree with everyone here. Eat maintenance and lift thru February then see where you are. You look awesome BTW

Whoa.

Potatoes. Always start with potatoes. The gateway to vegetables. And beans. So versatile

Soy milk, coconut and dried cherries today

Yup. Every day a few new things show up. Friday was the tower of treats, that no *kitten*, was 5 feet tall. Most of it was crap, but I’m a huge sucker for peanut brittle and moose munch.

No fried foods and 10k steps as a minimum

The kohlrabi noodles are delicious with a peanut sauce, so maybe chicken sauté for you carnivores, or spicy tempeh nuggets.

Please do your homework on a whole food plant based diet, watching the Netflix movie Forks Over Knives would be a great place to start. Yes, you absolutely CAN reverse diabetes.

I hit my goal weight (121) for one day. That’s it. Literally. One. Then bounced right back up. I would say if your goal weight is something meaningful, like the middle of BMI or whatever, go for it. If it’s completely arbitrary and you already feel good, save the brain damage and stay where you are.

@scribblefrog if tracking macros works for you, do it. You clearly understand calories are king. But Here’s my 2cents.... 1. Find foods that satisfy you and that provide good nutritional bang for the buck, then build your meals around them. My faves are black beans, sweet potatoes and fruit 2. Eat the rainbow 3. Study the…

I won’t advise here, but I will share that my life and health are considerably better since I stopped drinking. Four little words to learn and practice...... “I’ll stick with water”

My latest volume love has become butternut squash. As you know, at Trader Joe’s, all items cost the same. So you can get a tiny squash, or a massive squash for say $3. I of course get the biggest I can find, peels and cube, then roast at 350 for 40 mins. Toss in some pecans half way through. Big bowl of comfort food that’s…

No contest - Roast butternut squash with chopped pecans.

@amberellen12 if you want to eat WFPB, you don’t really need to follow a specific plan. Just eat plants and enough calories. Make adjustments once you get the hang of it. If you’re trying to lose weight, same advice - but track calories.
