Of course you can do it!! It just takes time to do it in a healthy fashion. I'm 5'3 and I started here at 216 so I feel your pain about mirrors and the like. Please add me if you want.

Probably not in a healthy fashion.

Thanks for the advice, got to love the search feature. Giving blood for the first time in years tomorrow.

Well done!!! That "maybe" a mile will build into so much more. Never doubt that you can do it, just take it one revolution at a time.

I didn't say I had all the answers and I'd say I read most of the posts, some of them were mostly quotes and "I agree with this". Being needlessly pissy to those who are or were trying to help you just doesn't get you anywhere. And I'll let it go at that because idiocy isn't good for my bp.

Target has a collection of workout clothes, they also carry the Champion line. Otherwise joing either the ****s or Sports Academy rewards programs and use their coupons on stuff. Or try the clearence rack of the afore mentioned stores.

I wasn't trying to bug you I was trying to offer you advice, which you solicited on a public forum. Now granted my spelling is shist but my comprehension is quite good. It seems to me that several people have offered you the same advice and you are either not wanting to hear it or are incapable of understanding it. "...I…

Okay I know I'm not a role model for fitness but I believe you aren't acting in a healthy way. At 5' 8" your on the low side for weight, so dropping more weight would be bad. You could stand to gain a few pounds of muscle. I'm 5' 3" and female and I lose weight on close to 1800 calories a day. I run, I walk, and starting…

Edit: The original farm subsidies were designed more like a loan. If the market tanked the goverment would loan you money and use your crop as collateral until the price rebouned. Then we just switched to paying people to grow corn and soy, flooding the market with these now cheap commodities. Thus the growth of…

I'm slow as hell (16m/m) but I love 1/2s!! I can't give you advice on training but I will tell you to pick a run that sounds like a blast and make the most of it!! My mother and I do the Disney ones at least once a year, sure it's a trip but that's half the fun. Or do a local one with a theme.

Being the Mom of my house I buy all the groceries and plan all the meals. It helps a ton!! If I don't buy crap I'm not tempted by it later on in the week. It's been quite an adjustment for my kids but since my husband and I want to be healthier they get dragged along as well.

LOL we did the Adventure park after the race and the day before. But we didn't run the race we walked/jogged it so maybe it was because we didn't push our limits.

I really liked the Edge when I rented it. The Kia was also nice when I looked at it. Edit: If you have a 5 minute commute why do you even drive it? Or at least when the weather is nice you could walk it.

I totally agree with this. I'm at 35% now and my goal is to get down to the low 20s depending upon how I feel at that point.

I was at 3 lbs yesterday but back down to 2.4 today. I'm thinking quite a bit of it is sodium because I didn't eat 10,500 extra calories in a week. I mean don't get me wrong I did go over but i tracked and it doesn't work out math wise.

Please add me!

I go with the body media one.

Same here, according to my trainer I can do a leg press weight higher then most of the guys she trains. Sadly I took a year off of lifting so lord knows what I can do now.

That's an awesome idea!!! I might have to steal it, for my Frap and Mt Dew addiction!

It's a calorie surplus but without seeing your diary I wouldn't be able to say if it's eating or over estimating your calorie burn. I do however second seeing a Doctor to rule out any conditions that might contribute to your gain. If they rule out a medical cause then see a nutritionist that specializes in Vegan eating.…

Your calves are 90% genetic in my opinion. You can work them a bit but since you already use them daily just to move around they're not as underdeveloped as say your biceps. You could try lifting but I don't think you'd see that much gain there, but certainly in other places. Assuming that that's what you wanted.

My Mom and I stayed at the Paradise Pier when we did the Tink last year and it was awesome. The race started right in front and ended just around the corner from it. Made things wonderfully easy. If I was doing the Tink this year I'd stay there again!!

I take it off to shower which by the time I shower and get dressed is 30 minutes. Then I take it off when I'm home for the day to let it sync and charge. So that's about an hour all told. Also I switch to my right arm every third day or so just to give my left arm a longer break. I have not noticed a difference in readings…

I'm thinking I'm going to do gold and blue (Navy colors) because I'm a Navy girl....

I'm going to log but I'm not going to worry about going over. But I also log to keep track of IBS and other issues so really can't not log...
-
Well if you work around food all day I'm pretty sure you have nutrition down. Nor is it a matter of not knowing how to cook.... So I'd say preplan easy things like sandwiches or do a cooking day and then just portion everything out and eat throughout the week.

Just take it and write a note in the system that it's day whatever of TOM. My period isn't normal so I just note it because it isn't an obvious 28 days. If you skip that opens the door to backsliding.

Of course, I'm a mom, got to lead by example...

Seek help.

Our end of the world dinner was Pizza hut and Mt Dew. I figure I need energy to run from the zombies tomorrow.
