As others were saying, you have an individualized calorie burn. I did cardio recovery today with a heart rate monitor on that converts into calories. The elliptical is most likely giving giving you the total calories burned rather than net. The total cal include your met rate (what would lose per hour without working out)...I used a HR monitor & here's my numbers without cardio abs: 32 y/o F 154 lbs 5'5...
