I make turkey chili and simple turkey burgers. For the chili, just replace the beef, or whatever other meat you might use. My burgers are simple-I just put a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan, pan fry with salt and pepper. Simple yet delightful!

http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Tobacco/ETS Actually, there are quite a few studies. Many of them done by the government. If they weren't worried about it, why would they be banning it in so many establishments? It's obvious you have a very firm point of view about this, but there are 2 sides for everyone's…

Your stats are very close to mine, or what they used to be. And I was the same way...all or nothing. Affirming in advance that you will have bad days will help tremendously. In fact, try scheduling a few bad days. Seriously, it helps! Get through your scheduled bad day, and then plan to have a good day following that. Just…

I don't discriminate. Everyone needs a friend and support, ED or not! I was deleted off of someone's friend list bcuz I didn't partake in his "getting off". Oops...sorry mods. I came on here for fitness/health, not hooking up!

It can be done! Ive had hypothyroidism for approximately 11 years. I lost 12 pounds last month and am close to maintenance now. Would like to drop another 10 pounds, but Im not fretting over it. What helped last month was a huge amount of cardio. to burn fat. Diet was varied with all things I love!

I guess you should be thankful that your wife isn't making you go with her to Zumba! lol!

There may already be a response to this. Although you may work in the office away from patients, if you became infected, you could infect another coworker who works with patients. I live in NC, and Im not sure if it's statewide, but here where I live, it is also a requirement at the hospital.

As a person with compromised health, I can certainly appreciate your employer for doing that!!

As one of those individuals, I can honestly say that 1200 calories for me is A LOT! I don't always eat below that, and sometimes I touch into my exercise calories. I can squeeze a lot of food into few calories just by the choices I make. I lost roughly 12 pounds last month by staying at or slightly under my goal. And my…

:-)) You're welcome! I saw your other post this morning, as well. I think half the battle is knowing that results are not going to happen overnight. If that were the case, none of us would be here meeting other great people! If you decide that running isn't for you, find an exercise that you love and stick to it. No one…

Have had hypothyroidism for approx. 11 years. You can lose weight, although it may come off just a bit slower. Be patient, exercise, and eat well! Sending a friend request!

I gained a great deal of weight when my thyroid quit working, but I lost it after taking meds. I wouldnt blame my recent weight gain on my thyroid, but I've lost approx. 20 pounds since March. Seems slow to me, but not certain that is due to my thyroid. I exercise everyday and eat fairly well (not all clean foods), but try…

I dont know the size of your salad, but a 6.4 oz caesar salad with croutons and caesar dressing (on Mimis Cafe website) logs in at 217 calories. If you add about 3.50 oz of grilled chicken its an additional 123 calories. Im not sure of what kind of cheese you used, but as an example, a 1.6 oz serving of blue cheese would…
