You can do it either way. If fitbit calories on MFP are listed as 200 cal burned & you add in your treadmill time as 200, it will change the fitbit adjustment to 0. Doing this lists your workout on your page - if that matters to you. I always add my workouts to MFP so it shows on my front page - it make me feel good.

Thanks everyone  !

Generally it is someone that eats what they want when they want it as long as it fits in their daily calorie/macros goal. So if you want to eat a bacon cheeseburger, fries, pop and a twinkie, you do as long as it fits in your daily goals. Where as a "clean eater" would generally choose chicken breasts, vegetables, fruit,…

Real butter or Smart Balance w/Olive oil - just because it's softer & easier to spread on soft bread

Another vote for the Ninja. Love mine.

I like to use peppermint extract (1/4 tsp) with about 1 - 2 tbsp of milk or cream. I also found liquid enhancers (like Mio) for coffee, I have a caramel one that is really good.

I recently bought a minimalist shoe (Vibrams 5 Toe) & it drastically reduced shin foot pain. I'll get a little sore when I first start out, but as I go along the soreness goes away. The only I don't like, is the bottom of my feet get sore after about a half hour - they feel like I've been walking for hours.

For about the 1st 10 year of being overweight, I blame my mom. Most 5 year olds don't know about nutrition. But since I was a teenager & learned how to cook & had learned the 90's version of what was healthy, I blame myself. Now at 40 something, I am still overweight & have absolutely no one to blame but myself for letting…

Yummy - love Frostys! I saw another recipe with just 3 ingredients - ?milk, cool whip & something chocolatey, but it didn't give the measurements.

I'm sending this as a mid morning snack. Trail mix is awesome  !

A carb/protein such as an apple w/cheese, banana w/peanut butter, trail mix - nuts/raisins/a little chocolate.

I don't do "cheat" days/meals, but generally on the weekends I allow myself to eat to maintenance. I don't necessarily plan it, but as I'm logging my food, if everything I want comes in at maintenance I go for it. I don't add stuff just to get my there. I average losing .75 - 1.5 a week.

Something sweet everyday - bonus if it contains chocolate  .

Not necessarily. It all depends on your daily calorie goals. Many times you can eat more then one serving & stay within your goals.

I make mostly all homemade meals. Use the recipe builder. It can take time to enter all the ingredients, but once it's in there, it's saved. The only thing I don't like about it, is you can't edit amounts. If you need to change something, you need to delete it, then re-enter it. Other then then that I love it,

Thanks everyone for the kitties - adorable.

Also, if you like carbonated drinks, a lot of the flavor enhancers tastes really good in carbonated water. The grape flavor mixed with Mendota Springs Water tastes like grape soda.

I try to log everything in the morning. If I need to I make adjustments throughout the day. If I eat first, then log, I will go over my calories.

This. Total waste of my money.

If you really want to, you can also count broth based soups toward your water. The whole 8 8 oz of water a day is not true. Yes water is a healthy choice & it is probably good to get some plain wayer everyday. But as long as you stay hydraded all day all you need is liquids. Even liquids with calorie - such as milk - will…

Check this out too. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1175494-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants?hl=guide+to+sexy+pants&page=4#posts-18964199 It explains it all. In short - MFP sets you up with a deficit assuming you don't exercise. When you exercise, you need for fuel (calories) for your body. You…

I didn't change what I eat, just how much. I refuse to give up my favorite foods, because I know then I will fail. Smaller portions of all the foods I love. Still working on adding more vegetables to help fill me up.

This is my favorite of all her stuff I've done (& I love 'em all). I've had it for a while & do it 1 - 2 times a week. I have done all 3 for a hour workout & it's brutal. For a 20 min workout I usually burn about 200 calories, but I'm also about 70 lbs overweight.

MFP is designed for 18+. There is sparkteen.com that is for 13-18. I am thinking of showing that to my daughter (actually 12 1/2 yr old). That might work better for your kids.

I'm on week 7, workouts 7 & 8. I love it! She is so motivating.

My husband has tried it & liked it. The 30DS & RI30 doesn't have guys in the video, but Body Revolution has several guys in the videos & that has similar exercises. I say give it a try.
