I almost always log my food in the morning or even the night before. Yes at times I change things around (say it sounded good when I planned it and not when it's time to eat or say if I'm unexpectedly out somewhere at meal time) but overall I stick with what I have logged and it helps me keep things under control that way.

I'm Alison I'm from Ohio. I originally only joined MFP to help out a friend and it just clicked. My goals are to be at my pre-baby weight but I'm also ok with stopping when I feel it's right for me. Since I'm a SAHM mom to 5 kids (3-15) my workouts are done at home. I like to walk, recently found Zumba for Xbox, and of…

I know how you feel. I started out at 315 and have slowly worked my way down. I'm just shy of 100 pounds lost and I can't seem to reach it:( I still have more that I'd like to lose so even this far into it it can feel overwhelming at times. You will get there:)

My motto since I started this has always been one step at a time, one foot in front of the other. I needed to focus on that for 2 reasons. One I could barely walk due to back problems so it was literally one step at a time for me and the other was with having to lose 165 pounds I knew I couldn't focus on the big number or…

I started out at 315 and it took me a good 30+ pounds before I dropped a size. But the more I lose the quicker I lose sizes now so no matter what just keep going and know you will start losing those sizes soon!

The exercise started off slow so it was just tracking calories at first. Now I exercise about 6 days a week, but mainly to walking dvd's. Thanks everyone!

You look super! Don't throw them away, help someone else who could use them and that will make it easier. Go through freecycle, maybe you know someone personally, a homeless shelter kind of thing, or see if one of your MFP friends could use them. That's what I'm going to do with my old winter clothes next year. My MFP…

Do you have the Wii Fit or EA Active? My 3 yr old LOVES to do these with me. She also likes to do my Leslie Sansone walking DVD'S with me.Can you take her swimming at the local Y? How about pulling her in a wagon? I have the same problem with my daughter and I've learned there is a lot I can do still:)

When you take your food scale with you everywhere:laugh:

I'm a cheese addict too:) I can't/won't give it up so I have started using lower fat cheese, lower calorie cheese ect so it doesn't rack up my calories. I use the Kraft fat free cheese at least once a day, lol.

If you go to caloriesperhour.com they have walking calculators. On the one you put in your weight, how far you walked, and how long it took you and it will figure out the calories burned and also tell you the speed of your walk.

My new favorite thing from there is the fit and active (90 or 100 calorie packs can't remember which they are) rice cake snacks. There is cinna-swirl and s'mores. They are so good!

I've been having a lot of eggs recently and besides being out of my egg whites I got bored with eggs so I had chocolate cheerios with skim milk this morning:) It was a nice change.

Ours changed to that awhile ago too. I stopped doing a lot of my shopping there when they did. It's just too hard for me to get that 100 points every month with the amount of shopping I do for the things that I'm willing to buy there.

This sounds like me even thought I told my self it was because of taking my kids in with me. Now I can easily fit in the regular one ( kids and all) but I'm SO used to heading or waiting for that one I still use it. I really need to break that habit, lol.

I've lost a baby horse or the average 10/11 year old. I've already lost more then MY 11 yr old, lol. I guess he's not average:)

I think the whole point is to stay under your goal for the week. That's the whole concept behind calorie zig zagging. Some days are higher some lower but you still stay within your weekly goal for calories. I'm doing this right now and it's working so far:)

I plan on eating what I want just in moderation. One plate full of small amounts of things instead of 2 or 3 of huge amounts of everything. Holidays are a part of life and I want to enjoy those things, not dread them and worry about how to handle it:)

I had mine taken out in January 2001 when my daughter was a month old. I was in the hospital a week because I went in through the ER and no one could seem to figure out the best way to deal with it. The day I got out of the hospital we went out to eat because I was going stir crazy:) I was feeling back to my old self…

I'm afraid to try it. The last time I had anything like that ( a red bull) I couldn't sleep for 24 hours! My house was never cleaner though, lol.

I love this stuff too! I was constantly buying SoBe life water because plain water is not my favorite thing and since I basically don't drink anything BUT water now I needed something to help get it down:). I love the Peach tea and the Strawberry Watermelon ( I think that's what it is). They taste great and it doesn't take…

So done with this! I want no NEED to get out of the house! I'm tired of being stuck at home with the kiddo.

That is awesome! You look really good! Hard to tell it's the same person:) Congrats! [/url

That sounds really good! I bet my kids would even like it. Thanks!

You may need to trick your metabolism into losing again. Maybe doing a different type of exercise every couple days or mixing your calories up a bit. some days higher, some days lower. I've heard this works great for some people because your body never knows what to expect. Whatever you decide good luck and keep pressing…

No secret here. I just KNOW it needs to be done and I'll feel better once I do it so I just do it. Granted some days are easier then others. I also try to workout as early in the day as possible so it's done with and I don't have to worry about it anymore

It still counts:) I've become fond of the SOBE Life Water, they are very good with lots of different flavors. Also this might sound strange but I bought a water bottle that has a straw and found it much easier to drink my water this way. Don't know why but before I struggled to get in even 6 glasses a day and now I will…

I understand how you feel. Last winter our vehicle died and it took 5 months for us to buy another one. I'm a stay at home mom to 5 kids ( 4 are in school) and every week I felt like I was losing my mind because I couldn't go anywhere. I was even jealous of my kids getting to go to school:) It took my toddler months after…

It truly does! I have lost nearly 50 lbs and I couldn't have done it all on my own! I would have gotten discouraged or had a bad day and given up long ago if I didn't have the support behind me. Everyone can use that!
