I use the Vega sport protein powder. I like the chocolate best. I also buy their protein bars. I have a lot of food restrictions too (no egg, dairy, soy, gluten, almond). Meat gets boring - I get that.

We currently pay $4,400/year for our health insurance (family of 4). Under the "affordable" care, we will pay $14,000 for similar coverage. I fail to see how this is a good thing. OP- get protein from eggs & soy. Visit a health food store with good customer service and talk to someone about a good tasting protein powder and/or protein bar. I've been wondering the same thing. I'm in Stage 3. I'm getting stronger (and that's FUN!) I've been eating at TDEE - 20%. BUT - I've gained 11 pounds!! Dan - this part confuses me. I thought we were supposed to eat the TDEE-20% every day. But this indicates we should eat at BMR some days? Are those rest days? My TDEE is 2500 and I've been eating 2000 every day. My BMR is 1775 (according to Scooby). My TDEE is based off my BMF averages. (I'm 43 and I do New Rules 3x/week).

Me too! Thanks to people like Lorina, I've learned that I CAN have pizza! And plenty of it! I had 1/2 a pizza last night for dinner and enjoyed the heck out of it.

I can't have dairy, soy, egg, almond or wheat. The brand I just tried & liked is called Vega One. I've tried chocolate & vanilla and liked both.

This is just my 2nd day doing these evil things. The first day I didn't think to tuck in my t-shirt, so of course while doing them, my t-shirt slid up to my bra and exposed my giant stomach for everyone to see. And the dismount. LOL. Is there a way to get off the ball w/o it shooting out towards other people?

We like to juice carrots, apples, celery, beets and fresh ginger. I don't know how to count the calories on that.
