Awesome work man! My aim this year is hitting the 90kg/200lbs for 3 reps It will be hard but doable. In 2 weeks i know what my new 1RM is (i hope to be around 75kg)

So, last week i skipped my friday workout, and had a rest day instead. I felt so fatigue again, that i felt like i needed it. And guess that was the right decision. Today i am in my last week of my Mesocycle, and doing the compounds at 95% Today was Benchpress day, and my worksets were 2/2 and AMAP on last set. I felt…

Nice piece.
-
Looking great Tams. Did you got a new piece on the leg?
-
Bumping this thread, since it's been a while. I know it's not summer, but mom legs go all year round ladies

My WWII freak would like to come over there and teach these kids about it. It has so much history Fair enough, i live in The Netherlands, so it is part of our history, but i love visiting historical places of WWII and learn about it

This makes my heart smile
-
Agreed that the smile suits you better Sandy, but life can be so hard sometimes, and you are going through a lot, i get that. Just know that we are here for you as well, just as much as the gym is there for you
-
CHRIS! Man you should try this. I think you would really love it. Tip of advice, don't wear shorts. You will get you knee open, since those walls are like sandpaper. Got a few scrapes to prove it... Maybe a good idea for a teambuilding exercise

So last sunday, me and some friends went bouldering. I had never done this, and had never heard of it actually. One of my friends started doing this early december, and he loves it. So he invited us over. It asks a lot of back strenght, grip strenght, but unexpectically also leg strenght, core and balance. It was a lot of…

This is probably more impressive than those moments everything flyes and it feels kinda easy Going when you least want it, grinding through Proud of you Sandy!

Its a guilty pleasure for sure

I have not crushed Dave lately, but he will always be a crush of mine Love you brother!

When i was at my lowest back in 2015 i did not do much lifting, i was doing cardio a lot, and light weight dumbells and cable station work. But i was able to do 3 sets of 8 unassisted pullups with 10kg plate But i was around 185 lbs i think Yes i am stronger now than i was back then, but also a lot heavier and bodyweight…

I am a tall guy, almost 2 meter (6'5ish i believe) and most of my weight is on the gut. I have pretty big upper legs as well, but thankfully lots of muscles there (proud of the progress there). So i guess it looks different on me than if i would be under 6 feet But yeah weighing almost 250 lbs makes it very hard to do…
-
Even if i used all the bands in the gym, it would not be support enough for my upper body strenght with my bodyweight (almost 250lbs)
-
Agreed!
-
This is so true. I try not to compare myself to others, especially when it comes to upper body strenght. I see these kid's do 10 pull ups in the gym and i am like "I wish i could do 1 pull up" But then i see them do 40kg squats with trouble and i am proud of my squats The only competition is the person you look at in the…

YES! Doing good work Sandy
-
Thank you Sandy. Basically 2x25kg plates on each side, but since i do not wanna hog the 25 plates form other squat racks, its 15and 10
-
Pretty happy with my workout today Today was the start of week 6, so close to end of my 7 week cycle. Doing squats at 90% of my 1RM and even though i could have hit better depth, this still felt pretty good. Definatly not perfect form, since my upper body shifted forward, but the weight itself moved pretty good This was my…

Yes i have, probably cause she could deliver cookies to me 😉😘
-
Oh, i hate when that happens. Still sore from that 5/4/5 on that 85% squat from Tuesday as well, but went for deadlifts on Wednesday anyway, and today is accessory work, but gonna adjust a little to make it upper body accessory work, and no legs today

Bowling for life! I wish bowling over here was as big as it is in USA I am a certified trainer/coach for 6 years now on ETBF level 2 (same as gold level USBC coach in USA) One of my pupils made it to national team U18 and is a rising star. I live for bowling, and wish there was made to be a living in it, on the…

Haha, well i guess i was just real clumpsy in most of the situations. But (knock on wood) i have not broken a single bone in last 15 years And not lottery, but went to casino once with only € 100 and came back with € 5000 HYE cheated on someone?
-
Yes, where do i start...lol Have broken my clavicula (clavicle) when i was 5 or 6 years old, byt jumping on the couch and fallen of it Then i have broken 18 bones in my hand during a bowling match, by having a high backswing, and the television screen hanging too low, i went right through it. This was at age 16. I broke a…

Well sports over here in high school is totally different than in USA i think. Here people just do sports, but not linked with school, like football/baseball/basketball or anything else basically. We did however had chess classes, after regular school ours, so that was cool
