Daily Post: Tuesday 4/2 Track: Yes Calories: Under Exercise: No Goals/Comments: Couldn’t walk at lunch. Had to go get my allergy shots. Another volleyball night so no working out. Even though I haven’t been working out the way I used to, I’m surprised that I’m beginning to feel better about myself by simply tracking and…

Daily Post: April 1st Track: Yes Calories under goal: Yes Exercise: 20 min lunch time walk around campus. Not really what I wanted, but no time for extra due to my daughters volleyball game.

I have issues with drinking enough water too. A couple of weeks ago, I started drinking a bottle on my way to work in the morning. I've noticed since doing this I am drinking more throughout the day as well. When I skip that bottle in the morning, I hardly drink any at all throughout the day.

Good Morning Slimsons! I was off the grid, so to speak, all weekend. We went on our annual camping trip that we've named "Tent-A-Palooza: Making Memories". Ate too much, had too many alcoholic beverages, laughed a lot, loved every minute. 14 adults, 19 kids, and 3 dogs. Fun times. I'm back on it today and absolutely love…

Hi Team! My name is Kristy, 40, from Louisiana (USA). Love love love me some good 'ol Cajun food. I have been on MFP since 2012 and around 2014/15 I was at my fittest. I weighed around 160-165 (I'm 5'9") and was addicted, in a good way, to working out. I felt great. Then I started having lower back disc issues and was in…

I love this! I've been struggling lately with eating out of procrastination for doing things I find unappealing. I'm going to try a few of these tips. Thanks ladies!

Just turned 40 in February. Been on MFP for a long time. Got healthy/fit'ish. Had injuries. Got unhealthy/unfit'ish. And now I'm back. Derailed for a few years and I totally miss the healthy and fit me. Mother of one teen and one pre-teen. Lots of stress and little time for me. I'm trying to make my health a priority again.

This isn't really something that nobody told me, but more of something that I didn't think would happen. When you have setbacks like injuries or just health in general, it's so easy to lose track of time and fall back into old habits and gain it all back. I was at my healthiest and fittest when I started with bulging discs…

Hi! I just hit the big 4-0 in February. My body has been falling apart for years though. Bad knees and lower back are my main issues. I've been on MFP for a long time. I was at my healthiest and fittest around age 36. Got down do a size and fitness level I was happy with, then the back decided to start giving me problems.…

Good morning MFPeeps! Happy mid-week! I had a couple of really good food days. Hoping for another today. Have a good one everyone!

Been busy with after school activities and eating way too much fast food. The scale has gone in the wrong direction. On a positive note, running and yoga have been helping to keep me sane during the crazy schedule. Hope you all have a great week!

I needed that smile this morning! Thanks!

To get my eating under control. Ugh.

Happy middle of the week M'Agers! Tonight the kiddos have cross country practice so I get to run on the track while they practice. It's so much nicer to my knees than the road. Hoping the weather holds. Been a rainy few days here in the deep south.

I tend to lose from the tips of my fingers and toes inward. I'm also a little tall for a lady so I end up with very lean arms, legs, face, neck, and chest, then a bit pudgy in the middle. It sucks, but nothing I can do about it.

I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread. Your humor and outlook are fantastic. I am also doing C25K, alternating between Zenlabs C25K and Zombies, Run! Two very different approaches to 5K training, but I love them both. I live in a hot, humid area and for the last few weeks have been running on the…

I like this. I guess I may fit into the category of "runner". 1.What motivates you to run? Started off with having dreams of being able to run (literally dreams of running without being chased) and thought "why not?" Then I noticed how much better I felt mentally. 2. How often do you run and how far? 3-4x/wk. Not a long…

I suppose it's not that no one told me, but more so I didn't heed the warnings that once you re-gain it's much more difficult to get back into the groove of losing again. I'm slowly making my way through it, but dang I want to be my old size again and wish I could just snap my fingers and be there already!

Good Monday morning! I feel like I've been away for too long. The kids are now settled into their school routines and I've gotten into a new workout routine too. Gave up HIIT and am now alternating days of running and yoga and absolutely love it. Have a great week everyone!

Today I'm on Week 5 Day 3 of Zenlabs C25K (I think it's a 20 min jog). I alternate days of yoga and jogging. I completed C25K a few years ago and had to stop running due to back issues and a knee injury. This time around, I find it much easier. Not sure if the yoga is helping or what, but I'm taking my time to prevent…

I'm also 5'9" and when I was at my lowest (160 lbs) I was constantly told I was too skinny. I have a wide frame and people would always guess my weight as being way lower than it was. I'm back up to more than I'm comfortable with now and the comments have stopped. Working my way back down to my comfortable weight again so…

That's what was happening to me. It was getting to be that a lower back stretch session was the length of a workout. I've recently given up on my normal workouts and switched to alternating days of yoga and running and must say my back is thanking me. I feel great for the first time in quite a while. Working for me so I…

Evening workouts for me too, but not because I'm not an early bird. I'm up early, but my body doesn't cooperate with my mind so early in the morning. Wish it did though.

After taking a week off, my mini goals: 1.) to stay within my calories each day this week, 2.) get in a workout each day. That one may be difficult with the kiddos' back to school stuff this week.
