I seem to only be able to drink ice cold water when I have a straw...but I prefer to have 0-2 cubes of ice in a tall glass of water. Usually order water with no ice in restaurants.

They used to be almost impossible for me, but they are bearable now (at 30 second intervals). Someday I might learn to love them. <3 Okay, I just watched a youtube video showing burpees...and I obviously am doing a "modified" version!!! Guess I can see why they aren't most people's favorite!!!!

Although I dislike running on tracks, I like this idea as a temporary solution until it's safer in your neighborhood. If there is a track at your child's school, that might work...if not, maybe you could drive somewhere not very far away that does have a track??

Watch tv, read a good book, organize and clean a closet. (Probably in that order!!)

For me, I believe it will be a lifelong journey. I will probably have to log my food until I'm put into the ground (hopefully my casket will weigh less than it would now). I know myself well enough to know that I will probably revert back without accountability.

I guess I missed that about the bok choy. I probably didn't pay attention to the weights. Makes you think about meat and dairy in a new way!! I guess if we really plan our meals out, we could get some seriously balanced and loaded nutrition with just plant foods. I know myself though, and know that I wouldn't take the time…

It's easy to start hating Jillian when you do the same exercises every day. Once a week worked in with your other exercise routines would work. It is only 20 minutes, so easy to get through.

Interesting results. The milk was higher "per serving" but with volume taken into account (or maybe it was weight) the tofu had almost twice as much. I never knew that.

Excellent answer! I have to WALK OUT OF THE KITCHEN often. Sometimes, I realize I'm just exhausted and want to eat to maintain energy, so I go take a nap. Or I go for a walk. Both of those keep the calories away...and sometimes I need one and sometimes the other.

Lately, I've been craving carbs like crazy. Sometimes I give in and try to finish the day a little better. Sometimes I put it off by eating fresh fruit. Sometimes I just have to leave the house so I'm not around the kitchen. Other times, I save some calories so I can indulge without guilt.

Absolutely! It is totally possible. Your body is burning calories day and night and as long as you don't eat more than you burn, you will eventually lose pounds. Don't forget to drink lots of water to help your keep your organs in good working condition. BTW, your therapy is actually exercise, standing is exercise, walking…
