Did you even read the OP?

I had the same thought!

Of course you do! It is part of form and technique. Runners are constantly self-checking and self-correcting. Try to be aware of how your foot is striking the ground. If you're hitting heel first, then you need to make a conscious effort to try to change that. You sound a little frustrated and defeated. Slow down. Go at…

Instead of calling it a cheat day and going all out, why not call it a maintenance day so you're still accountable? Not at a deficit, but not at a surplus either.

Single and rockin it!

Hi! I'm not quite sure what your "dilemma" is. You're upset that she is shorter, weighs less yet wears the same size clothing? Focus on you and your own goals and allow her to do the same. For the record: I'm 5"6' and when I was 201 I wore size 14 or 16.

I just updated my profile Pic yesterday to show off my hard work, then come on here only to read that other post. Uhh. im proud of what I have achieved.

It gets easier when you relax a little and settle in to the new routine. You HAVE to stop white-knuckling it! If you're starving, eat a little more, it will NOT be sustainable in the long run if you are shaking from hunger. You will not see the YAY! losses every week, you just won't. This is what separates those who…

Nope, this is wrong. You can easily separate flavoring from water by evaporating water. This = physical change not chemical.

I had a boyfriend who called me "Sweet Tits" I thought it was funny. But never in public.

Mmmm I like sushi.

What sushi looks like a doughnut?

Yes I log them. They have calories so they count.
-
Agreed! I'm crying laughing right now.

Yeah, I've thought of this too. So here is what I do (which is seriously neurotic) I weigh every morning and keep a spreadsheet of daily weight. At the end of each week I take the highest and lowest weights and record that range in a separate column on the spreadsheet. This way I can see trends while factoring in daily…

Well there could be many reasons why you're not seeing any losses yet. However you absolutely need to fuel your body. 1200 calories/day is not much to live on in the first place. Your body uses those calories just to function properly! When you use up those calories exercising your body is going to get tired! Eat your…

Yes you will! If you are eating at, say, a 500 cal deficit per day and then burning and eating back another 600 calories, you are still at a 500 cal deficit for the day, which is how you lose weight!

Sorry, so insensitive of me! Can't change the title now, but it should probably read "Doesn't HAVE to be a Pig Out (Unless You Want it to Be)" I'll think twice next time I post.
-
Heh, I was thinking the same ... I happen to love geometric prints especially with a mod twist. I really like the photo *ducks for cover*

Love this!! Thanks for posting. My daily lunch bag is similarly packed. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you pull each item out and laughed when many were similar to what I bring with me each day. My question is what do you do on the weekends??

I believe the preferred term is "intersex." Which reminds me of a great novel called "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides. Check it out!

Thank you! All great advice and things I will keep in mind/make notes to myself about. This is a biggie for me. It is a company that I have wanted to work for for years, so I want to just go in there and kill it.

I did, but now all of that stuff is hanging in the "too big" closet.

I would guess the extra calories expended would be less than a cookie. Maybe eat an extra cracker and call it even.

I prefer the Fitness and Exercise board, but the Chit-Chat, Fun, and Games board sometimes makes me laugh!

I love this cat!

I love this cat! He makes me chuckle every time. Never gets old!

I misread this as elbow and thought of George Costanza.
