For about 30 years or so (Minneapolis, Golden Valley, Detroit Lakes, and Moorhead) ... but now I've migrated south to North Carolina. I'm always at the lakes in my heart, though :)

Start slow. Incline is a killer. Ease into it but do use it. Speed and incline intervals are a great thing to do. You can probably go faster on a treadmill than on pavement. Wipe it down when you are done.
