I've been exercising 4 out of the last 6 years --- currently 3 years. My routine used to be come home from work at 6, eat something reasonable to avoid bloating, go to the gym at about 8pm, stay for an hour, go home, shower, and before you know it it's bed time. I didn't have any hunger that way. The last year I'm in this…

50 for $9.99...can't beat that !

I like my cheap whiskey & diet coke and will sit there all night every night drinking. The trick is to use a tall enough glass so that ice plus 14oz of liquid fit in it. That's better than a small glass where you put in a shot and 1/2 a soda --- you're drinking twice as much alcholol.

I was doing beginner ice skating a couple times a week...until I went to the Emergency Room one night. That was the end of my professional hockey career lol

Sounds like I just need to go to Walmart and pick up a half dozen dishwasher safe bottles regardless if the disposables are causing my issues. I've yet to read on here or on an internet search of what specific diseases you can pick up from bacteria (aside from cancer from plastic toxins). Oh well

I have heard in the past that your own bacteria grows on the mouth portion of the bottle and needs to be cleaned. Also one never knows what nastiness lurks in one's cupholder...

I think it's impossible to control will power for the rest of our lives. Controlling balance is far easier. Have some pizza for lunch, sneak back & have the soup at 3:00, and have a lighter meal tonight at 7:00 or so. It's all good :smokin:

I usually have a yogart and pack of oatmeal when I get to work at 8:30. I don't want too much because I go to lunch at 11:00

This is very creepy, but it works for me... I just look for some attractive women using the first row of cardio machines and I go directly behind them in the second row. lol
-
I get on the tredmill for about 5-7 minutes at 3.5 speed before lifting weights. Then I'll do cardio. I just find it disgusting when people soaked in sweat use the weights.

Thanks for the replies I actually had an ear infection last year that lasted 6 months - talk about a bum deal. These symptoms are very similar. I'm going to go back to the chiropracter and try to take care of my shoulder. Hopefully this only lasts a month or two this time lol

I hear you, I woke up sunday morning in my front yard surrounded by empty Stag cans and cartons of White Castle when my neighbor was nice enough to stop and beep his horn on his way to church

I think it's equally filling as some alternatives. When you have the choice between a Slimfast versus say a Hotpocket for the same calorie count, the Slimfast is probably the better choice.

He styled and profiled for over 35 years. :noway: I only dream of looking that good at age 60 !

IcyHot  I have a bad neck and use the cream. God, it burns like crazy and everyone smells it --- but no more neck pain

I like the french vanilla powder. The taste is excellent. That said, I drink one a couple times a week. I do this normally as a 300 calorie snack a couple hours before dinner. I'll go to the gym, come back, have a shake, go back outside and do some yardwork / dishes / etc, take a shower, and make dinner. It satisfies my…

I don't think that's bad at all. In fact, that's good. You can 15-20 pieces of fruit in a day (in theory). The amount of food you get in a day in terms of oz/lbs is substantial compared to most other foods.

Whiskey

Very true I always found it's easier to do cardio when fatigued than it is to do weights though. With cardio, you just have to remember to keep your feet moving :grumble:
-
For right at 200 calories, you can make an Ultra Slim Fast shake. I like the vanilla powder --- good stuff. I think that's going to be the same great taste and a lot more filling (lots more fiber)

I'm not sure I like the food counter program. It seems like it takes some time to create the charts. I may do an EXCEL document myself; I think it would be faster. Thanks all
