What day of your cycle are you? I always have increased hunger leading up to and during my period. Fat cells like to suck in water to hold their shape after they have lost the fat. Eventually they let it go and you'll see a difference on the scale.

I've been eating keto for coming up on three years and have lost about 115lbs. Over this time I've found two ways of making the scale drop when it's been slow moving. One is after having a very large, high calorie meal (1800) even after consuming about 600 calories during the day which puts me over my normal calories by…

Make sure you're eating enough protein otherwise you'll lose a lot of muscle along the way. Listen to what your body wants and try and aim at a 20% deficit.

Miracle whip is too tangy.

You're eating 1200 calories which is really low. Are you exercising as well? If you are, are you eating back the calories you're burning? I'm guessing you're just at too much of a deficit for your body.
-
If you're eating low carb you need to make sure you watch your electrolytes. Supplement sodium, magnesium, and potassium.

How much weight do you have to lose? Your doctor has some weird opinions on weight loss. I've lost over 100lbs in 2.5 years eating keto (low carb, high fat, moderate protein) and have about 20 more pounds to go til my goal weight. It's possible but requires a lot of effort and self control.

Add greek yogurt to your juice to turn it into a smoothie. You'll get some protein and fats this way. Try adding avocado as well for some fats. You're not eating enough calories and you'll burn out quickly. You're definitely not eating enough protein and fat a day by what you listed. Fats are not the enemy!

There is a lot of negativity here so I don't read and post in the main forums often. It's best to join smaller targeted groups to find the helpful, motivating people. I just don't understand the point of the people who spend all day on here and post negative comments. Newbie asking a question that's been asked hundreds of…

Whenever I go to SB I get an Americano with sugar free hazelnut and add cream or an iced sugar free mocha made with whole milk which is only 150ish calories.

Sugar laden foods. They rot my stomach so it's easy to stay away from them. Red wine is totally worth the calories.
-
Weigh and track everything in your diary. 1300 calories is too low on days you're working out.

Around 106lbs in two and a half years. I have about 18 to go to my first goal weight. We'll see where I go from there.

I think Nyquil has 19g of carbs. Most cold/cough medicines have a lot of sugar in them to make the palatable. I made the same mistake once when I was so sick. I got some sleep and felt better the next day so it wasn't all that bad.

Drink some canned broth to help with your sodium levels. Make sure you also supplement potassium and magnesium. Drink plenty of water.

Keto until I've reached a weight I'm happy with. Then I'll eat low carb the rest of my life. Probably increase my carb intake to 50-75g a day and see how I feel. I'll just add in more root vegetables, fruit, etc. Never going back to eating sugar as it makes my stomach hurt for days if I do eat the stuff.

Do you drink a lot of water? Magnesium is one of the electrolytes that gets flushed out with sweat and higher water intake. Have you tried taking your supplements broken up into three times a day instead of all at night?
-
Your body could be needing magnesium which would explain craving it (besides the tasting good part!). Try eating more healthy foods that are high in magnesium or supplement.

Take progress pictures and keep measurements of your body. You can be losing fat without having the scale move. Don't think of this as a race and just take it one day at a time. You'll get there eventually so just enjoy the ride!

Nuts, avocados, coconut oil, add flax or hemp to your smoothies. If you're drinking a lot of water make sure you're watching your electrolytes. You need sodium, magnesium, and potassium which are all flushed out by sweating or drinking lots of water. Lack of sodium can cause dizziness and headaches. Most processed foods…

I've never used ground chicken as I've never seen it in the grocery store. I love making Chipotle turkey burgers though. They are amazing!allrecipes.com/recipe/spicy-chipotle-turkey-burgers/

High fat dairy for all the things!

I put 1T of coconut oil, 1T of kerrygold butter, and a bit of sweetener into my tazo chai tea. Blend it up and it tastes like a chai tea latte from Starbucks! Keeps me full for 4-5 hours too.

Being keto adapted means your body is now efficiently running of your fat stores for energy versus carbs. Pretty much what RockstarWilson said. You drop your water weight the first week (I lost 6 pounds I think) and then your body switches over to fat burning soon after. I eat around 20 net carbs (carbs minus fiber) a day.…

75 fat, 20 protein, 5 carbs. Favourite food is grilled rib-eye with gorgonzola butter. Target weight is about 20lbs to go.

I've been eating LCHF (keto) for over 2.5 years now and dropped over 100lbs in that time. When I first started this WOE I didn't count calories and I really didn't need to. A high fat diet keeps you satiated for long periods of time so you're eating less. I was especially eating less because I was a carb addict before and…

Eat more, measure food by weight, eat more protein or you'll be losing muscle instead of fat.
-
Majority of it is water weight. You drop the water weight when you start eating low carb and it's the first thing to come back when you go back to eating heavy carbs.
-
You aren't eating the right foods if your insulin levels aren't in check while dieting. Try eating your 1645 calories a day with low carb foods. Eating more often as well so you don't end up binging.

Just over 100lbs. Started Aug 2012 - 274lbs Currently - 170 Almost always at a 20% deficit which is easy with keto. Lost it all through eating keto (low carb/high fat). I need to start lifting though. I have about another 20lbs or so to lose.
