  • Low blood sugar and low blood pressure were my 2 suggestions, too. I frequently get dizzy, especially when trying to lose weight, even when I'm eating and drinking enough. My Dr recommended a handful of nuts to bring both back up to normal range. I keep Planters trail mix in the house for that purpose.
  • Walking, more than any other exercise, has been my secret to weight loss. I gained a bunch of weight in university, started walking one summer and lost 40lbs in 4mos just by walking 4mi every day (I walk about 4mph). After my 2nd baby, I walked every day, 2.5mi, pushing my double stroller. Again, got down to my lowest…
  • I was sick last week, too. So I did the shred a couple of times, but had to take it easy most of the end of the week. To make up for it, I did L2 and JM Yoga on Sat. the 30DS kills my knees and ankles, though, so I can only do every other day. I'm on L2D4. I can do most of it, but certain things like double jumprope are…
  • How's everyone doing?
  • I'm currently BFing my 2mo son. I BF'd both my daughters for about 13mos, so I've got a long time to go! I'm lucky, I get a year of mat leave, so no carrying the pump around for me. I think you mommies who do it at work to keep it up are awesome!! Anyone who BF'd previously, how quickly did your weight come off? Did you…
  • Before getting pregnant last year I was doing the Shred every other day. I love it because it's quick and it's hard work! I've recently been doing JMs Burn Fat Boost Metabolism, but it's quite long and I don't have that much free time. Count me in on the March challenge, but for every other day, my knees and ankle can't…
  • I'm just under 5'3 and aiming for 110. I'm very fine-boned, though, and know the healthy range for my height is 104-136, it just depends on your build.
  • Your son is 2 days younger than mine :D. Mine also eats every 2-3hrs, and I count 500 calories for feeding him. I like the idea of adding it as a custom exercise, that makes more sense.
  • I couldn't find it as an exercise?
  • If you're breastfeeding, they say you need to eat between 1500-1800 calories a day to maintain your supply. So, I'd add in the extra 300 calories. Mine screws with my weight loss thing at the bottom of my food diary, too, but I ignore it. Why did you choose only 300 calories? I looked it up on a few sites and most say that…
  • My digital scale will give me different numbers every time I get on it. I can try it 3 times in a row and gain or lose 2.5lbs in less than a minute. I'm not sure I believe that mine is all that accurate...
  • I'm 5ft 2.75", my goal weight for now is around 110-112. Once I'm done breastfeeding, though, I'd like to be back at 105 which is where I was before I gained some to get pregnant. I generally wear a size 0-3 when at the weight I'm comfortable at.

  • Thank you for all the suggestions. I will have to try eating more and see how that goes. I'm not hungry, though, so it seems strange to me that I should eat more. I only have 10lbs or so to lose (I know if I go below a certain weight it will affect my milk supply, so I have to be careful), but it's all in the middle and…
  • noadditives - I breastfed both of my other babies for 13 months each, and did a similar caloric intake without it affecting my supply. That being said, I am always conscious of what I'm taking in to make sure I'm getting at least 1500 calories a day (my maintenance is very low). kitchentales - I don't own a tape measure,…
  • Thanks for the suggestions. Once it's warmer I plan on getting my oldest one to ride her bike while I push the double stroller, but she still needs some help on her bike, too. She's well under the weight limit for the stroller, but she's tall (lucky girl is tall and skinny), so it's uncomfortable for her. I do put baby in…
  • My baby BF's about 8 or 9 times a day, he consumes about 4oz a feeding. I know it's somewhere between 300-500 calories a day. The calculator doesn't take that into account, does it? I do put in the BFing "food", I just wish it was under exercises and not food. I just know that when I was BFing my 2nd daughter and was…
  • Hi, can I join, too? My 3rd baby is 7.5 weeks old, my older 2 are 3 (tomorrow) and 5.5 years. I gained about 30lbs with my son, and have lost 20 of it. I really want to lose that last 10lbs before summer! I discovered you can add "breastfeeding" as a food and it gives you -500 calories. So it gives me a daily goal of 1800…
  • I started doing it about a year ago, before getting pregnant with #3. I was at a weight I was happy with, but wanted to get toned. I definitely saw results with toning! That being said, I gained some weight doing it because I was gaining muscle and was already at a lower BMI. I'm not sure how well it works for losing…
  • When I lost weight after my 2nd baby, I tracked calories and ended up losing way more than I'd intended. But not taking into account those calories did affect my supply as I lost more and more weight, so I know I have to be careful. I agree, having kids is the best weight loss tool...mine don't give me a chance to relax!
  • Add me, too! My baby is 7.5 weeks, and I have 10lbs to lose. I also have a 5.5 year old and my younger daughter turns 3 on Monday. Are you ladies breastfeeding? I'm having a hard time making sure I eat enough calories to make up for BFing, but I don't want it to affect my supply.
  • I just had my 3rd baby in Dec and am just starting to try to lose the weight. I had a c-section so couldn't work out until last week. Are you breastfeeding? I am, which makes it hard to limit calories because you have to have enough to keep your supply up. After my 2nd daughter I lost all my baby weight and then some just…
  • I'm new here, too. I had my 3rd baby 7 weeks ago today. I gained 30lbs during pregnancy, and have lost 20 of it. I'd like to lose another 10-15lbs. My only big issue is that I can't limit calories as much as I'd like because I'm still breastfeeding, but I'm doing the 30DS, walking (weather-permitting), and obviously…
