  • a phone plan with internet. I have a Nook, and I can surf anywhere with free Wi-Fi, so I don't understand paying monthly for something like that. We've had several phone reps in our office and all of them think they can convince me how it's so awesome and so worth it...so far, no dice, keeping my phone the same.
  • went to a girlfriend's house, and we just used sliced up veggies- cucumbers, carrots sliced the longer way (is it on the bias?), celery, etc.. at first I thought it would taste funny, but it really didn't, and was a nice new way to enjoy salsa!
  • does anyone know if they for sure switched it to Monday night, or is it going to still be on Friday night? Just hoping to have a new episode on Monday! I don't want to wait another week. lol I LOVE this show!!

  • I work in finance- so I don't keep a shred bin at my desk- I just walk it back to the main shredder whenever I have something, but I also have a pretty cool boss and staff, and they don't care if I walk back after every client, or whatever. I saw someone else mentioned kegels- you could also do random muscle groups that…
  • they didn't waste any time with the opening on Season 2 - was a great episode- don't want to spoil it for anyone though. I'm hoping he'll let Hank know what's going on with him eventually...

  • have been aware that I have bouts of depression and have been medicated for it a few times, but haven't done the counseling since high school- was in a group therapy type thing in high school. Knew about it going in, but waited too long after having my first baby, and my post partum was pretty bad. I went in to the second…
  • with my oldest, we started at about 2, and he had a harder time training with #2, than with #1. We put up a calendar, and every #1 was a star or small sticker (the $1 store is a great place to find these!) and for every #2 he got a chocolate treat (M&Ms or Hershey Kiss) and a COOL BIG sticker for the bathroom calendar- the…

  • sometimes it's just scary to take that "leap" and jump into something new. 8-5 for a regular schedule that includes school and work, would be ideal! my work days are all over the place, sometimes I work from 8:30am - 7:30pm- so I say take it, and you'll learn to make it work. I agree with others the recommendation coming…
  • while I was at work - "nice rack, let's go out" the ENTIRE time staring at my chest like a hungry baby.
  • SO, MONDAY night!!!! I'm so excited!! here locally there was a commercial for a "local" bank, and in it they are spotlighting a "small business" that does some "graphic work" that changes people to "monsters" in it....and they actually morphed the people sitting on the couch that own the company into GRIMM creatures- so…

  • I wouldn't be able to do mornings at this point - my schedule is mostly days with some later shifts - 8:30-6 mostly, and some 9-7:15 (and I'm NOT a happy early riser! lol) since my kids usually have me up at just before 6, I'm reluctant to give up any more sleep than I already am (mostly going to bed around midnight).
  • I've always liked my younger brother's comment - mind you, he was stoned when he said this (and a totally mellow guy)....but his comment on something when he realizes he's wrong: "dude, sorry I blew up." coming from someone half-baked, it's hilarious. Now that he's sober, he still says it, but it still makes me laugh. He…
  • I'm so jealous!!!! Forgot the NBA guys. I've met Dan Dic(insert a k - MFP, really?!)au, and John Stockton as well. I've seen John Stockton several times, he lives in our area, and always happen to run into him at local restaurants with his family. ETA: MFP won't let me post his name as is...
  • Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross - at a hotel in CA, we were on our way to my Grandparents' for Christmas, and my mom's Movie Boyfriend has always been him, he walked down the hall that morning and said "mornin' Ma'am" to her, and she told me later she about melted and that it was the best Christmas present ever. My younger…
