I've been on MFP for several years and found at almost 66 that I need a regimen to help me. Now that spring is ahead, my goal is to get these last few pounds off. It's a daily thing. Its worth it when you can finally get into size 6 slacks. Yay

I am getting ready to turn 65 next month and you can add me if you like. I could always use or give support as well.

It is something I have to work hard at every day to stay on track. I understand it for health reasons. Add me if you like.

I sometime remove meat from the bone, put in processor short time enough to grind. Then I make chicken patties or nuggets, maybe add green pepper or onion and spices to taste. Less expensive and healthier for me than store bought.

You are so right in that it is with Gods' help that you will make it, stay focused. Remember it is a new year, good success to you.

Feel free to add me too. I worked from home for years and understand how hard it is. I am retired now and it is still something I have to work at constantly.

I have been taking the raw chicken off the bone and putting it in my food processor. I can shape into patties or nuggets seasoned to taste. After reheating these, i don't notice that taste plus they cook quicker.

Yes I cook from scratch every day and put together actual meals. I watch my BP pretty close so I have to.

Congratulations and keep it up.

I take a 1/2 cup of whole grain pasta, 1/2 cup pinto beans (Cooked from scratch) mix in 1 stalk celery then cut up a couple of slices of tomato into it. was very good and shouldn't cause a sugar spike. I keep premeasured amounts of beans in freezer for a quick meal.
