AWESOME!! Also, for all of you on Synthroid or Levoxil or levothyroxine, think about Armour! I worked on finding the right meds for over 15 years. This is totally untrue. Everyone is different. I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with Hasimoto's Thyroiditis as well. I found that once I started and realized I could control my calorie intake and activity just like everyone else. I lost 63 pounds. I have done it since 7/21 of this year. Congratulations to you! I am half way to my goal and the only reason I get mad is I waited so long. MFP makes my life so much easier. I am down and feeling great, so I know you must feel the same. Maintaining is going to be the challenge for me. Way to go, keep it up!!

You can do yourself a favor and turn the coffee into nutrition. It sounds wacky I know, but I have, for about 3 months done this. I would, in my past, have a coffee in the AM with milk/splenda. I exchanged the milk and splenda for a scoop of Whey Protein. It add sweetness, flavor and creaminess. Now it is a, less than 150…

I started on my journey 2 weeks ago. I have Hasimotos thyroiditis. I'm not even thinking about the thyroid anymore. Its not my throat that's my problem, it's what I'm shoving down it! :-)

I'm with you! I just stated my journey. Went to a weight management clinic and my internist. I'm half way to habit forming. Next hurdle...next weeks vacation. I could always use more support, accountability and friendship. Who couldn't? Congratulations on your new beginning :-)
