Gotta have my smartphone for music on the treadmill and in the shower!!

I would get a heart rate monitor. Get a good one. I have tried several different ones and find the Polar brand to be the best. I had one really cheap one that tried to tell me I burned 900 calories in a 45 minute workout on the elliptical. I wish, but it was about double what it should have been. The machine won't give you…

Don't let anyone bring you down! Do what you need to do!

I get annoyed with not getting responses either, but I will give you my 2 cents on this (so remember I said it was only worth 2 cents). I follow the MFP guidelines for calories. What I have found is that after awhile of the same routine you will hit the dreaded "P" word, plateau. When that happens you will need to mix up…

Glad you asked because I didn't know either, but there are no dumb questions.

Been there done that. Don't give up! I don't know how much weight you need to lose, but it will happen. Give your body time to adjust. When I started this in January 2011 I had the same issue except I was in the gym 6-7 days a week and some times twice a day. I am now 43 pounds lighter, but the most important thing - I…

I have my goal set at 1 pound a week and MFP gives me 1400 calories. My workout adds between 300-400 and sometimes I eat them and sometimes I don't. Depends on how hungry I am and what kind of bad food sneaks in to my day.

Don't be discouraged! Slow and steady will win in the end when you keep the weight off. I made it a whole year and lost a total of 43 pounds - which is less than a pound a week while working out a minimum of 6 times a week (sometimes more). You got this. Keep your head up!!

When I do that I make myself go to the gym and work off the extra calories, then I eat, if I am hungry.

Tried it once and loved it. Unfortunately my gym does not offer it at a time I can go. Some of us have to work so 8:00 am on TU/TH doesn't work for us, but I am over it. I will keep doing kick boxing, which is an awesome workout too.

I heard one last night, however it was not on the radio. My daughter was in a talent show at her school and the "teacher" band sang "Keep your hands to yourself". It was awesome!!

Me too! Feel free to add me!!

I am looking for some friends too, so feel free to add me!

I feel you pain!!!! Hang in there.

Can I still get in this challenge? I know I am a couple of days late.

Don't get discouraged. I am in the same boat as you and as much as I hate to hear it (and say it) you are gaining muscle as I did. I have been at this 10 weeks and only lost 13 pounds. I am in the gym 7 days a week (and some times twice a day) I am looking at this as a life style change. I can never say I won't eat…
