  • Forgot to say elderly neighbor, her dog, her son, and her daughter-in-law left last evening to drive back to California. I actually shed a few tears. A mixture of relief and sadness. Son will be back in a couple of months to clean the house and put it up for sale. We will keep an eye on the house for the time being.

  • Well, date night was fun! Ran into some former co-workers and visited for awhile. Dinner was good = shepherd's pie. And two glasses of wine. And a soft, warm pretzel appetizer.
