Soda addict here not bad maybe 1 or 2 cans a day at most but I do it every day. I gave it up completely for about 6 months and drank mostly just water last year then started back on it. Wrong move. Managed to gain weight back and think soda contributed to that. Now I need to give it up again. I love most sodas but my real…

I also have chronic pain. I have arthritis in both knees my back, both feet, one wrist, and a messed up ankle. I am looking at 2 surgeries in the future which is why I have to get remotivated. Last time I was on here I lost quite a bit of weight by walking and going to the gym besides tracking everything I ate but now I…

I get this. I lost 46 pounds since January and am finding it harder to stay on track. I am trying to stay motivated but it is difficult.

I know with the keto diet a lot of people end up with constipation because they are omitting a lot of sources of fiber such as fruit and veggies. I am guessing the excessive amounts of coconut oil is causing the diarrhea now.

Had gastric bypass 2001, gained it all plus reinforcements to my highest ever weight of 317 pounds. Never did lose much, only about 70 pounds.

One shake didn't fill me up. I love the chocolate and cappuccino ones. Still drink them on occasion but not as a meal replacement. They aren't that filling.

Me too. Had surgery in 2001. Gained it all back after about 4 years plus reinforcements. I was not a big loser. Lost part of it again with the help of a nutritionist. Hovered around 250 to 275 for the last 8 years or so. Started MFP in January at 275. Down 40 something pounds.

I eat back about 250 calories of what I burn.

I walk between 10,000 and 15,000 steps a day and have lost over 40 pounds since January. I also do some weightlifting, not a lot but some.

I have been in a walking boot for about 6 weeks now. I still walk a lot. Even still I notice that leg is atrophing a little. I have a high grade tear and probably will have to have surgery. I am down 40 something pounds.

Awesome job. I can’t wait until I get there.

Losing weight will give you more energy. I also take one a day vitamins that have energy added. Exercise helps also. I used to be a night owl and nap during the day. Now I am up by 5:15 am and rarely nap.

Nothing wrong with that. Perhaps he is just jealous. As long as you feel good about yourself. F*** him.

This happens to me. What I do is get on and off the scale and check it and see which one comes up in a row. That is the one that I pick. This morning it happened but the higher number seemed to be more consistent so I went with that.

has fit has a bunch of chair exercises you can do with dumbbells. Check them out on you tube.

I have lost over 40 pounds since January by mostly walking. It does work. I eat back about 200 to 250 of my calories from doing so.

I am not an expert on this but since you are young, some of your skin might bounce back. I can't guarantee it but you are luckier in that aspect than I am. Also weights might help tone up some of it. Basically as people on here have said it depends a lot on your genetics also. There is really no way to avoid it. It is…

I thought I did everything right, researched the surgery, attended every support group, talked to people, went to all my appointments, and had counselling. I had the surgery in 2001 and lost 72 pounds only. After about 5 years I regained all the weight plus reinforcements to my highest weight ever of 317 pounds. It is not…

I am 55 and have lost over 40 pounds since the second week in January. Mostly I lost it by walking over 10,000 steps or more almost every day, lifting weights 3 times a week and by staying with my calories. I try to eat back no more than 200 or 250 calories of exercise calories.

I can fit in most size 16 pants pretty comfortably now. I won the serengetti badge on my fit bit which means I have walked over 500 miles. Went from a 3xL-4xl in shirts to an xL.

I have also been on various ppis for barretts esophagus and ulcers. Again you can gain weight but it doesn't prevent you from losing it with calories in and calories out. Actually I noticed I have less problems now with acid reflux after losing some weight. I still take PPIs, protonix and sulcrafate. I also was on nexium…

I have been on various antidepressants for many years. Yes I probably have gained weight on them but I can still lose it if I follow calories in calories out.

No went over by about 300 calories but also went swimming.

Quite a few people are. There are about 3 different posts on this.

Depends what you add to it. Lately I have been craving savory oatmeal with cheese, sausage crumbles and some sauteed vegetables and some salsa and avocado at times. I also like it with crunchy peanut butter and bananas.

I couldn't get all the steps yesterday to register either and today can't log my foods.

Going to Europe in June, also to get below 220. I haven't been below that weight in 25 years. I have about 15 pounds to go.
